I agree with Arvy (!) in that people are being TOO unfair to Gatts.

Yes, he exercised a poor judgement. (But don't we all?)

Yes, he should not have left his own HNM LS for a competing HNM LS - even if his reason for doing so is valid. I can fully understand his desire to hunt the strongest HNMs, considering how committed he is and how devoted he is - he is, without, doubt, or has become, one of the best importer players on our server. But at least he could have done a better job handling this, and distributing everything equally as much as possible.

However, we should recognize and appreciate, or least I do, that if it wasn't for Gatt's initial effort to organize this in the first place, we would never have fought these HNMs.

Thanks to Gatts, I was able to fight Serket, and I really thank him for that.

Half of the wrong here was done by RubyEye members. Yes, I personally like EvilKitty, Ellone, and other RE members, but whoever that came up with this foolish idea to invite a known leader of another HNM LS, and coax him into joining was an idiot.

Can you imagine SleeplessColor inviting the leader of Mastermind LS?? If that were to happen, don't you think members of the Mastermind would be very upset to say the least?

But what is done is done - and I think Deli's suggestion that Gatts use his 70+ guild skill for the benefit of others who were in BandofHawk sounds very reasonable.

only left for a month....and so many things happen on rag. Diu i miss you ppl. I have no comment on this matter as an outsider. All i can say is, Gatts is indeed one of the best plds and a good person to be friend with. I have helped quite a lot of ppl to do quest/missions/jobs quests/etc etc...but whenever i ask for help in return no one is able to help or responding to my /shout. Diu lee lo mo, whenever i think of this i get really angry. Some ppl just forget you all in a sudden. Although Gatts is not really a super close friend of mine, I do believe Gatts that he wont steal 4.5m.

I guess you guys don't know how to read. He said that if you would have made a reasonable deal, and had him continue guilding for him, you would still be friends. Instead you want more than that. You are being unreasonable. He has offered to continue the service that youre are all so sad to lose, so I don't see how there is a problem. Hey, I didn't get the behemoth mantle until after I had said thanks to gatts for letting me join at all, and after everyone else had said their "fuck you"s.
And the only reason he probably gave it to me was maybe because I was asking him about it earlier that day, and maybe because I didn't say fuck you, I wasn't angry, I wasn't hysterical about the whole thing. I was dissapointed, but I understood. I agree that it wasn't the best decision, but since he offered to keep the linkshell if someone wanted to keep leading it instead of breaking it up, and to continue to make things for us with the guilding skills he had already aquired, I didn't think it was all that bad.
lol, I liked Gatt's comment right after he said it, "If any of you have seen Beserk, you might have known this was coming" (or something like that). I was suprised when he offered me the behemoth mantle and I even asked him why he was giving it to me. He said it was because I didn't say anything negative to him about leaving. I was hesitant to take it, but he said that he would try to get something for everyone with the linkshells money, I took it and thanked him. I know that some think this is unfair and are probably upset about it, that's why I'm not logging on until the next worldshift, then I'm running away with my mantle, never to be seen or heard from again! HAHAHAHAHAH!

I know it is a little unfair considering our total ls assets don't come out to enough for everyone having 1.4 million gil, so I already decided that even though I really appreciate Gatts giving it to me, it's not fair to the other linkshell members for me to keep it. Even though..... I dreamed of having one ever since about level 5
But I am not sure on what to do with it, Xuande wants to sell it so we can split all the linkshells gil out based on GP and so forth, but I think that we should keep it. Not I keep it (well, maybe let me hold it sometimes ) but that it is a good item to use. I was planning on giving it to Stryder since he's a pld and the cape has good defence and HP+20, and that the cape was probably for him in the first place :sweat: .
And incase someone wants to add a remark about me not being too upset because I wasn't that involved in the linkshell, this is a preemptive "screw you". I was as involved as I could be. I know I was a low level, therefor not as useful, but I joined every HNM hunt I could or was allowed to. I tried to do whatever I could and I didn't really ask for anything (other than maybe a 1h sword, but only because I don't have any gil and I would only use it for hnm fight anyways) because I understood that we wouldn't have anything for a while. That the guilds would be mastered then we would be able to receive items. I didn't really care, there were things I wanted like a behemoth mantle, but I didn't care that much about gil or items. I think just about when everyone first sees pictures of Behemoth they say that someday they want to kill it. Well I was a Behemoth's Bane, and it was great. I really appreciated just being allowed to join in the HNM fights.
I lost my thoughts because I'm trying to study at the same time, so in short.

Sey the Drama Queen is Back!

I need to clear a few things up because this truly isn't really my problem. I was never in BoH nor have I ever hunted 1 HNM in the whole year+ i've been playing. So really I should just shut the f*** up huh? Well, let me say my last words since I need to finish this. This isn’t really just a message to Gatts/RE people but it’s also for members of Requiem as well. I need to get this out of my system. If you’re not a Requiem member, don’t even bother reading #s 4-7 unless you're bored. I’m just posting it here cause I’m guessing every single Requiem member is reading this topic now anyway.

1. Evilkitty / RE members.
I don’t want to have any beef with you guys. I know I’m a drama queen ^^ out of the year and a half I’ve been at these forums I think everyone knows that by now. I’m getting a few /t’s from some members saying how they don’t like my behavior but I know what is write and wrong in this world. It doesn’t even matter if Gatts was my own brother. He needs a little spanking. Sure, maybe accusing an LS of stealing a member is a little much, but it’s pretty obvious. There are 1000+ other level 70 PLDs out there who would die to get in a HNM and who do you choose? I hope we can still get along and help each other with AFs and stuff like we use to.

2. Sey trying to get in Gatts LS
Yes it is true. I cried my little eyes out because I wanted to get into Gatts ls. Why? Maybe it’s because I wanted to be with everyone I’ve known for over a year. What was stopping me? It was only Gatts. So I /t him and start off with a nice conversation telling how much they were good friends of mine, Ect. Ect. Ect. Pretty much he just said “I don’t care, come back when you have a level 60+ job”. (Wasn’t in those exact words but making a long story short). I didn’t want to hunt HNMs, I only had a level 25 job (of course Gatts fails to even do a /sea all seyumi and assumes I’m level 18).

I know rules are rules but then he started the pull the “I’m inferior” talk crap to me. Let me make an example of this “talk.” In Korroloka <-sp? Tunnel and I see Teejay and a bunch of other people in the PT next to us doing /s every 10 seconds. After hours of this I finally /s and them they can use /p if they want. I get this: “Don’t talk to me like that!, I’ve had this game since march! (whhopy fucking do), I can do whatever I please, bwhaahaha.” Sorry, I don’t put up with that crap nor do I do with Gatts. He even talks to DRAKO like he’s some n00b. Quote: “You don’t even understand anything.” Lol, Drako has about 20x more playtime then you but you just throw around you’re “I’m inferior because I’m in a HNMLS” talk. That’s when I exploded then we got off on the wrong foot.

3. What Gatts LS did to Requiem
One day Gatts pops up and invites them into his HNM Ls. Sure it wasn’t really a big at the time until they started hunting. On Requiem we all understood that they had to be on Gatts LS while hunting. It was no big deal again but then they hunted Behemoth, few hours later they go to Serket, few hours later they got to Roc, Ect. Ect. Ect. Me and other on the LS just thought it was a temporary thing until they just never came on the LS at all. After a few days we knew what was going on. Requiem was dead.

4. Seys relationship with other members
When NeoG split a long time ago I wasn’t as fortunate as most people. All I would do is LS hop and never really found a home. After a month or 2 Drako picks me up and we start from there. We have about 5 original members and I’ve been in the SAME LS with them ever since. A month later or some so events occur which leads to the creation of Requiem. From there we got about another 5 or so members and we’ve been very close knit ever since. Unfortunately I lost my 2,500+ hour character to the Japanese billing system. When I came back and started to make Sey it’s when the LS was deciding to hunt HNMS. Lemia even made his own LS to do it. We all decided to worldshift to the new server and start our own there but some events occurred and we didn’t.

5. Why is Sey pissed at former members?
When Ellone/Fureiya got in a HNM LS Requiem was a mess. It was such a big Drama it actually made people quit the LS! I wouldn’t even come on the LS as well because I was sick of hearing all the drama. So everyone leaves to Gatts LS and leaves Sey behind and about FIVE other people. Even though I’ve wiped their asses with my 60+ whm many times, I wasn’t good enough for them anymore without that job back. So they just decided to leave me and a few members out all alone so they could fulfill their personal goals.

Sure, it was unfortunate that I lost my job and couldn’t be with them anymore but they chose to stay on Gatts LS 24/7 when they could easily come back to Requiem in between fights. It doesn’t take an idiot to have 2 linkshells. Of course I’m bitching for them to come back and stuff but now they all think I’m crazy and have “issues”. What the really really really FUNNY thing is, is that they were in my same shoes just like 1 month ago. People started moving up and left them behind. They whined and cried because they wanted to be important too. Now they finally moved up a step, just like Ellone did. What happens to all those members that get left behind? Same thing. What amuses me is how everyone thinks it’s ok. They just became the very symbol of what they hated.

From rejection I started getting attitudes with them all. Leaving former members behind for your own personal interests just shows selfishness and greed. You know how you all felt when Ellone stepped up and you didn’t? You were all so jealous and mad you broke his linkshell. That’s the same way I feel about all of you right now and so do about 4 other members so don’t even start calling me “crazy” or whatever cause I’m just repeating what you all did a month ago.

6. Conclusion
I believe in a little saying called: What goes around comes around. You guys left Requiem for your own personal greed and Gatts does the same thing to you. Don’t like it do you? How would you feel if you lost your 2,500+ hour character and you came back to the server JUST for your old LS friends and they all leave you to make money? You all know the sense of rejection, it happened to you as well. I wished you all lost your characters as well and you looked up on me and a few other people to help you and we just left to go hunt hnms 24/7. Would you be pissed?

7. Conclusion part 2
What’s to become of Requiem is unsure. Personally I wish things were back the way they use to but it seems like I can’t get anywhere in that LS without having a 60+ job respect wise. People think I’m just an ass from all these random explosions but I didn’t just “instantly” become like this. I was just as nice and as peachy as I ever was until until Gatts LS came around. All I’ve done on Requiem is help people. Sure I got help a lot on my AFs but I always helped 5 other people before I ever got helped. I never truly asked for much on the LS. When I come back with my new character I needed you all the most and what did you do? “Bye, we’re going on Gatts LS now, come talk to us again after you hit level 60.”

I’ve found a new home on Drakos LS. A place where people aren’t characterized by how many jobs they have at what certain levels. A new HNM LS is being made from Requiem members again and I’m glad. I hope they go out and steal every damn HNM there is because it was OUR dream. I would like to have a pearl and pop on every so often to see how the old gang is doing. As for now I won’t get anywhere on that LS without my cushy 60+ job.

About 5/6 of this was for Requiem members. If you’re some outside source please don’t even comment on #s 4-7. Please don’t pull the “stop making people feel sorry for you”, ect. Crap. I could just go PM this to everyone I know but I need to clear something up since Gatts keeps throwing around a “they don’t like you anyway” crap.

EDIT: To make a long story short, I’m against Gatts because he stole my linkshell members and threw them out like a piece of trash to live his “fantasies” of this game. I may have a grudge against them but you shouldn’t be messing with them or you’ll get another one of Seys 10 page essays :p

I think this is where the answer lies, too. If RubyEyes take a LV70 PLD and LV70 tanner from another HNM LS, they should pay for that. OK, it was Gatts' decision in the end, but in taking Gatts, they have taken a lot of the assets from the other LS. Those assets should be paid for. In Fureiya's terms, about $10000 should cover it
