when the LS recruits, u want the best among the the best. Gatts is one of the best, so i recruited him. and yes, i did talk to him about what he will do about the Hawks when he does join RE. he replied to me exactly the same he posted here.

i don't see why Gatts cheated or steal from the LS. seems like the guilding money is what some member in the Hawks are after. but, didn't the guilding money already decided who to go to long time ago? and was agreed by all members?

so gatts took the guilding money by the consent of the hawks member to do tanner guild. did gatts use any of the guilding money to buy personal desired item? gatts guilded for the Hawks, and "he will still be making items for the members of the Hawk as long as he plays FFXI". to me, the fulfill the purpose of being a LS guilder.

gatts let many of the importer's HNM dream came true. but for those of you seeking for money will only make people think you hunt HNM for gil. if u want to hunt HNM because you want gil, this will never happen in any HNM LS, and no HNM LS will accept player with thought like that.

To me, gatts is a good guy who served the Hawks well.

As for people like X, there are just too many sad stories about him. and from his action and mental state, no wonder no HNM LS will accept him. To me, he is just another player making us importers look bad in FFXI.

I know that many of you do not agree with the decision that Gatts made, but it is his decision. But to me it seems that the decision that you really dont agree with is where the gil went to. You could all probably care less what Gatts chooses to do now. Might I remind you all that you ALL agreed to where the majority of the gil was going to, however hesitent you were about it, you still agreed. Everything was fine up until the moment that you found out that Gatts was leaving, which meant that YOU DIDNT GET THE MILLIONS OF GIL THAT YOU SO DESERVE FOR BEING IN AN HNM LS. Yes, I did recieve gil for guilding, and it was used for just that purpose, so you may think that my opinions are biased. Your LS made money off of fighting hnm and you chose to focus that money into a few members so that they could level their guild. You knew that when you were doing this that it was a possibility that one of them would eventually leave. Now, if he had said he was leaving and you said "ok, sorry to hear that, can you keep making items for us and stuff?" or tried to make a reasonable deal with him, then that would be ok. What you are asking for is unreasonable. You want A. money that you don't deserve and that he doesn't have/owe you. or B. the account that he has put 10 months of his life into. I agree. It was totally retarded. It was against my better judgement to agree to giving them money to do this because I saw something like this coming from a mile away. It was why I was so hesitant to agree with it. The fact that they put it into guilding is irrelevant to whether or not it has been stolen from the LS. These people were our guilders. We agreed to give them the money on the condition that they will be the master guilders of the LS. Now atleast 2 of them have jumped ship and we have nothing to show for it. This is theft, regardless of how you want to look at it.

It is not per se that gil has been stolen from us directly, it is not that we care about the money. We are not greedy assholes or anything that gatts wants to make us look like inorder to take attention away from the bad thing he just did. The money that was invested into guilding to benefit our team has been ripped off. This was not part of our agreement, so should I have called it breach of contract? Lets not get technical and just call it stealing.

Gatts, you can post any conversation you want. But be sure to edit your post about how posting conversations is immature and crazy before you become a hippocrit. I wouldn't want you to look anymore like an asshole than you already are.

Unwittingly, as gatts is too stupid to understand Japanese, he had me translate 2 sentences for him about a month ago, before guild money was divided up:

Now, I'm not exactly sure how many HNM LS's out there have no PLDs but the only one that comes to mind is Rubyeyes.

Lol, how is that so? He's just another sleezy PC importer like the rest of us. I can name at least 15 other people who have more experience/guts/playtime than he does. Maybe RE wants Gatts because they have seen how successful his LS has been. Personally it’s just BS in my opinion. If they didn’t decrease the spawn time from 3 days to 1, 2 hour window instead of 12, +1000% drop rate, it would have NEVER lasted. You can’t really gloat (never said you did) about Gatts and calling him successful. It’s the most recent patch that made it like that, not him. How do I know it would of never lasted? Cause I’ve know 95% of BandofHawk members (Requiem) for 6+ months now and I know about 90% of them cannot stay on for 12 hours at a time (including myself) because most of us go to school.

Today in my courses we were taught an interesting subject which I learned about some time ago actually. It was about the Anglo-Saxons and shit like that. Ever heard of Chivalry? Rules that king Author and his knights went by. Lets see what Gatts passed and failed.These are:

What does he do? Taunt every 30 seconds? It isn’t fair to classify someone as the “best of the best” when they can’t even afford decent equipment. Anyway, off that subject.

This is a little waking up for everyone. People on Requiem got pissed because Ellone/Fureiya got in a HNM LS. Pissed and depressed they felt like they were low class. Now they join Gatts LS and rise to the top while leaving others behind since they wanted to make money. They just turn into nothing but Ellones themselves. They think that the people who got left behind are just whiney little kids but they were in that same exact place just not long ago. They thought this was ok because they were in a good state having fun and making money. Now what happens? Their own leader rises above them and decides to go a step higher because of greed. Is everyone on the LS pissed? Of course. But just as Xuande told me, “it’s unfortunate.” It isn’t fun.

Gatts LS was just 95% Requiem anyway. There wasn’t even really a point in making a new LS. Personally I think all Requiem members should go back to Requiem or that new one Ecko made. It’s amazing what friends you trust can do you huh?

As for Gatts I wish you good luck. Seems like RE is doing pretty well considering a lot of members are walking around with HNM items. You’ll get something nice one day. Just next time if you didn’t want all the members to flame you, the smart thing to do would have been to give at least a 1-2 weeks notice. Just compare this to a real life at a Job for example. If you just walk out on your boss and fellow employees don’t you think they would be pissed? Not even a 1 days notice. Just an “I’m quitting.”? Yup. Do you think doing that in real life effects you for the rest of your life when future employers call up your old boss and ask why you left? Sure does. Same thing happens in FFXI. Don’t really expect anyone to have any sympathy for you. This was your choice. You knew this was going to come. You did it to yourself. So lay off the posts and stop trying to fight your way out when you already know you’re scum. Just because you told Gatts a month ago that rubyeyes was looking for a PLD doesnt prove that he has been planning to screw you guys over ever since. You say youre not lying, yet you keep labeling Gatts as a thief with no real proof. You're spreading information that you can't prove to be true, I don't see how that isn't lying. I'll say it again. Gatts doesn't owe you a penny. If a store hires an emplyee, they put their time and money into training him to work for them. If he does a good job, chances are he is going to move on to something else. So if he moves on, should he have to pay the company back for the money they spent on him? I believe this game isn't about items, about gil, about your level.

The only thing that matters to me in the game is my friends, and respect. When you say the Requiem people were the only ones bitching and moaning, that is false. If i do recall, the only people who weren't upset disapointed w/e was Gantoris and Orts. Oh and Herodrink but he doesn't count. :p

I do not believe you planned this, but by starting a HNM LS and recruiting people ultimatly binds you by an unspoken trust between the leader and your members who trust you to make important decisions for the good of the LS.

Although the LS was only around for a month, you cannot say it wasn't successful. We killed major HNM like Behemoth, Roc, Simurgh, and Serket. In 1 month we acuired great items like the Cure staff, 2 serket rings and a behemoth mantle. How can you say we weren't successful.

I think what hurt people in the LS the most, was that you picked up and left in a 30 minute period. What made it worse is that you tried to ease the news by buying behemoth mantles and giving them to people. Not to mention seeing you run around with RE to HNM's that same night.

As for Evilkitty, i don't know you, but i do think what you did was wrong and I've lost any respect I've had for both you and Gatts.

Gatts, I held you in high respects, and you were someone i really looked up to, the ability to lead an HNM LS is something I'll never be able to do; but I feel it was your obligation as an HNM leader to turn down the offer.

This reminds me of another incident. /remembers Ellone. I guess some things are worth more than friendships. If it's just a game, how can you say you are glad you made the Hawks because of the friends you made, but in the process of a decision, loose those friends?

I completely see where you’re coming from. I don’t believe in ruining someone’s reputation that’s had the game so long and has put so much work in but there is a problem. Sure, if someone messes up and makes himself look stupid it isn’t right to make him the idiot of the server. Big difference….millions is no fun and games. 18+ people have spent at least 100+ hours the past month hunting HNMs with him. Doing this to 18+ people is what classifies him as what he is.
