you're just thick headed, even the ppl in the smn forum advises you that /smn is not a good idea, but hey, you can play what u want, u wanted to be brd/smn too didn't u? in fact it really doesn't matter from real game experience, there's a lot of ppl that don't frequent this forum and they'll come up with some assumptions w/out thinking it through carefully, u won't have any problems playing blm/smn in the game, nobody is going to laugh at u nor poke fun or ruin your fun, but everyone on here tells u is a lousy sub compare to the other 2, so you're basically gimping yourself to have fun, that's your choice

EVERY SINGLE GAME there's a certain way you must play in order to have fun, you can goof off, but u can't gooof all the way through to the end of the game, you don't want to listen, that's fine

I never said anything about wanting to be a BRD/SUM! Don't #^$#ing put words in my mouth! I wanted to know how well a SUM is a a sub. Ugh. You think I don't know that /WHM and /RDM is the best as a sub. If you had read my previous posts or had even paid attension to any of them, you would know that. I just want to be a BLM/SUM and I KNOW its not the best. I'm just saying how BADLY I want to be one, and it makes me feel bad that everyone is tearing it to pieces and wanting me to be the cookie-cutter image of a BLM. I may not be the best, but I will enjoy every single second of it. I don't care if people don't want me in their PT because I know that some people will.

Everyone is missing the bigger picture as to what I'm trying to say......*sigh*

Ummm...no. BLM would then be half the affective lv it could be. BLM spells are also quite costly and it would be more effective if the SUM were to be /WHM than it would be to be /BLM. But it is still doable and you would get plenty of invites. BLM/SUM would be better than a SUM/BLM because you would get a hefty MP boost and your BLM could use all of their very effective spells. All of this is IMO and I'm not sure if I'm toatlly right. Someone is bound to say "they both suck" But I like the idea of both. I know when I'm lving my SUM, I'm going to be a /BLM ^_^

I'm working my SUM up right now and I have BLM subed and people are always asking me for a PT, in WINDURST! Of all places. The one that is hardest to get into a PT if you're a mage.

Us people who try different things aren't stupid, in fact i consider myself to be the exact opposite. Did it ever acure to you that mabey we want more of a challenge for ourselves? And correct me if my eyes deseive me but the only people i actually see with "different" subs are nihonjin players! I think its just an American thing.

It seems that you also assume that we don't know the benefits of the other classes, well we do. The same thing has been posted on this very forum for a long time now. We are willing to suffer the "consequences" for not having Blink and Invisible. Also the PT issue. Umm, people will accept you in a pt even if it takes a long time. Also you will be able to fish and farm and stuff while you wait so you don't have to set aside any time away from the PT in /anon mode. And the only people we have to be weirry of are people that think we are usless and stuff like that.

So in conclusion, a lot of you are overanalyzing the situation. Thinking we are idiots and stuff is not really the case, my opinion is that you see a "weakness" in somebody and you start to attack it to boost your egos. it makes you feel better to prove people "wrong" doesnt it? You think that we don't know what we are doing, but we really do. I want more of a challenge and I want to be what I want to be not what you or anybody else wants me to be. You just don't unserstand, i wish you were in my shoes so you could unserstand where I am coming from and realize that what you are doing is completly and totally out of hand....

Almighty, i wasnt refering to you in my post near as much as i was refering to FFXITsukasa, but whatever... this whole thread has just made me realize why Japanese ppl dont prefer pting with NA's. and so you know, my info isnt up to date, i just dont care enough to change it ^_^

Ok, I've seen way too many JP players with the most "retarded" subs in the intire game. I just saw one that was a WHM/SAM. WTF is that? Then I PTed with one that was a WAR/WHM.

Trust me, the jobs is not the case as to why they don't like to PT with us. I just encountered a JP player who asked me to join a PT (in kanji and stuff) I can speak a little japanese so i told him yes and then he said "sorry JP only". The funny thing is that I was a BLM/WHM and I was peaking Japaense fluently to him. I asked him Naze desuka (why) and he said something I didn't understand because it was in kanji so i just told him that i understand (wakarimasu).

I'm sure they are just racist. Or something among those grounds. I play all of my classes really well and got into 2 different JP) groups in the same day! They always tell me that i do a good job. So whatever it may be, it certainly isn't because of the jobs. They have assloads of people with "gimped" subjobs so what could it be, i wonder....
