If they require a Garuda weapon, I'm out of luck. I've run it 63 times thus far without seeing my weapon drop.

You were going on about people in AK, an entry level dungeon you can do in AF gear and whites, not a boss fight that has a genuine gear requirement since attempting it while undergeared means you can't be kept up through the AoE. Big difference.

They need to add in a requirement that you have your relevant Garuda Weapon and a significant chunk of Darklight/Relic Armour before you even get the option to queue Titan HM on a class.

Basically I took a short break from the game to get settled into the new job and, in that time my FC has basically ended up burning out on Titan HM, so very few are willing to help out on it. Been stuck PUGging it to get my Relic with the occasional FC friend in their second or third relic queueing with me in voice. This is what I have seen this week:

• Paladins with less than 5-5.1k HP, and Warriors with under 7k HP so they die to the first Mountain Buster
• Healers and DDs that have less than 3.5k HP so they are impossible to keep up without babysitting
• Tanks that refuse to use defensive Cooldowns for the first Mountain Buster while the healers ares till healing everyone from the transition from heart phase
• Healers that don't precast AoE Heals
• Ranged DDs that don't gather for Geocrush
• Casters that wait until they have finished casting THEN attempt to move out of the Ao-oh he's dead again.
• People that stand on the red line during Geocrush
• MNKs and BLMs that think that just because they have cooldowns that let them stand in the landslide, also means that it is a good idea.
• WHMs that don't stoneskin the tank
• Healers that don't cleanse the people that just got broken out of the rocks. Nine times out of ten it's a wipe if they don't cleanse a DD
• Healers that stand in the Landslide
• Scholars that don't bubble for Geocrush
• Healers that don't precast AoE for Geocrush and Stomp
• WHMs that spam Medica II when the tank is clearly undergeared
• Groups that insist on building LB for Heart. - I've actually started leaving that moment because if you need the LB to finish the heart you don't have the DPS to win the fight.
• DDs that don't even have Ifrit Weapons, I have seen some running around with Darklight, GC and even Lv44 White and Green Weapons
• People not bothering to use food
• People dropping plumes on each other
• People not properly lining up behind Titan for plumes in the final phase, wiping the party
• People that can't be bothered to learn the bomb patterns for the final phase
• People that stand next to the tank in the final phase
• People that simply won't say "Hey guys, first time here."
• Idiots who bought a Relic weapon and have no idea how to play their class.
• People who are unable to take even the slightest bit of constructive criticism, or even a suggestion like "Don't stand in the Landslide" or "Don't stand next to the bombs when they explode"
• Melee classes that insist that melee classes have it harder then die to that one single pre-heart plume that was dropped on them.

Weren't you guys throwing hate on my game for expressing similar sentiments?

Would anyone believe that "a set drop rate" and "random chance" are not mutually exclusive, when the drop rate isn't set to 1 or 0?

So I just got trolled hard by a complete douchebag WHM.

Doing wanderer's Palace and a Warlock's Satchel Belt drops, which is a good deal better than my current Raptorskin. Dude Needs it, and then I checked his gear and he's got full darklight, including accessories + Garuda Staff.... I asked him why the hell he rolled Need on that when he has clearly superior gear, and he said he wanted to sell it for GC seals.


At that point I threw a fit and just trolled the group. /sat untli they got to the boss, when I eventually got bored and decided to help only because i wanted the mythology tomes. Seriously what kind of scrub do you have to be that you gotta rob other people from upgrading their gear for USELESS GC seals that you can max within an hour or so of high level FATE?


I need an endgame FC....

You can run the dungeon more than once. Being a complete ass is worse than him stealing gear from you. There is no real set drop rate it's just a random chance that you get what you want and if you want to get mad, get mad at SE for making an honor system. There is no honor among thieves. You should knows this.

They really need to get rid of the Mythology cap. It's complete bullshit.

It takes 10.4 weeks to get 1 full set of armor for just 1 job, and that's if you cap your seals each and every week. Now, this wouldn't be as bad in a game like WoW, where you *have* to make alt characters to play a different class. But in a game where you can play everything, it's an arbitrary and downright infuriating restriction. It's honestly starting to really kill my enjoyment of the game, along with the lack of a good FC, DF douchebaggery, and that the 1st major patch won't be until December (wtf SE) and on top of that, doesn't even address some of the big concerns like the status effect cap on monsters (which is going to severely affect Crystal Tower).

Mal, too bad you can't transfer from Legacy to Non-legacy. There's a lot of better FCs out there.

Even when we're mostly static, we pug a 4th slot, we get the douchebags who ninja rolls. But you know what? We don't care. As long as that player actually contributed, we feel that everyone has an equal shot at loot. And as Hayde stated, it'll be replaced eventually (although I'm talking about pre-50 stuff, so Mal should still have a bit more right in his grievances, but SE could've done something if they thought it wasn't fair by eliminating the "turn in loot for seals" option)

I'm tired of running all over the place to finish the storyline. It would be ok if I was running all around and each CS i got to was part of the storyline, but to run here and then there to go talk to someone about picking something up or dropping something off... It makes the storyline cumbersome...

I guess that reading all this, I've been lucky thus far on Shiva - I was injured fighting and a random player sent me a cure spell as he passed, which I found was quite nice of them, I always try and repay the favour if I see players injured when I'm passing.

Unfortunately, douchebaggery is the way of the internet.
