Congrats, I think thats the one I'm stuck on.
I've tried it on every job I have at 99 and she dies everytime,
Why she thinks she can do it on her own I don't know.
Some mage she is too, What kind of mage doesnt sneak and invis itself, She just Leeroy's in there.

Finally got around to solo Fire in the Hole to continue my WotG missions, it took 3 tries because Adelheid is the most useless npc ever. But anyway after a few tries, and many Quadavs Thundaga'd to death I finally got it done.

It doesn't display his hp, so I really have no idea. orz

But if it serves as reference he was casting -ga V spells by the time it kicked me out.



Also, I healed him at least a few times while getting the hang of it and got the camera in the right position to show his dmg (since I don't have dmg showing in the log to avoid spam.) <_<;

How low did you get him? I seem to recall he gets more ornery as his HP goes down. Holding him's simple enough but getting enough damage in is problematic. I never figured out how to finish him in time.

Very meh accomplishment...

I fought Shinryu solo and didn't die this time, just... ran out of time. And something tells me there's no way I can deal enough dmg to him within the time limit. orz

I like trying to solo NMs on my WHM and THF. Even if BSTs, NINs, SMNs, PUPs and RDMs can do most of them in their sleep, it's awesome nice feeling awesome by soloing an NM.

Yep, killed him just now, but he didn't drop the Abyssite so I'll have to kill it again in a few mins. XD

Going to elaborate on that to avoid confusion--they kill Koios/Gamayun to potentially upgrade the KI in order to pop the next NM, which is Ifrit/Diabolos (forgot their Abyssean NM names).

If I get the abyssite to change color I'll have to get some help to kill Ifrit (Brulo) for the flame sachet. Fighting Chione I got healed quite a few times thanks to my snow sachet. <_<

Koios is a joke. The only thing that might be blocking your way is people like to farm Gamayun and Koios for colorless souls for upgrades; they're generally pretty cool about letting you join them though.

If you beat Chione, you should have no trouble at all with Koios.

Soloed Chione just now as RDM/BLU, she came close to pwning me a couple of times but I managed. XD Got the Abyssite of perspicacity I was looking for and a Goetia seal.

I have no idea how tough she is supposed to be, but it was the most intense battle I've had in quite some time.

Koios

Thankfully my Abysite didn't change color so I can try this one out for free. d(^^d)

Been getting quite a few Abyssites both from NMs and quests.

Still have much to do, but at least I'm being able to get stuff done for now.
