My estimates on time refer to the amount of time necessary not only to get invites and XP, but get the related gear. AF armor takes a lot of time to get; generally you spend at least 1 day per piece on average, between getting a key or doing the NM fight or what not. Also, it's not like you can magically make armor and weapons appear at the AH on demand, even if you have unlimited funds (and someone who XPs 24/7 will have anything but unlimited funds unless they farm their Visa Platinum ).

    Re: little ninja
1-55 is only about 1/3 of the way to 75 (not counting the recent change to XP formulas). That's still 60 days, and you DO have to stop and smell the roses sooner or later to pick up gear, make money, etc. And I can't imagine the kind of burnout you'd have after YEARS of doing something like that all the time.

I suppose it's "possible" if you had someone always playing or most of the time playing, but even the most dedicated and notorious XP-junky on Midgardsormr (who at last count I believe had 137ish merit points) has only ~5 level 75 jobs, with a few others in striking range.

fyi, the person is Mumu on Gilgamesh server. We have confirmation that he was seen wearing the actual cap in Jeuno, and apparently he is quite famous on Gilgamesh.

Once again, you're in no position to judge what makes OTHER people's lives worth living, and what means something to other people. To the person on the other end of the computer, all the above things you mentioned such as meeting chuck norris and kurt busch could mean absolutely 0. Don't be so closed minded. People have different aspirations in life.

                    fucking chuck norris

fyi, kurt busch is nascar racer, won nextel cup last year.

Did he have all those jobs at 75 before the cap came out?
If so, then its not necessarily having them all beat maat or anything. Could be a lot less. All we know for sure (since ppl on gilgamesh say its confirmed) is that having every job at 75 will get you the hat. But it may be overdoing it, we dont know...

In my opinion, if I played this game 8 hrs a day every day for 3 years, I would totally feel like I was wasting my life. If thats what makes someone happy...then they are easily made happy. I'm happy for him, though I do find it odd. Anyway it show commitment I suppose. GL to anyone else who can get it, I'm about certain I never will.....unless they keep supporting it for the next 30 years.

What if he's extremely adept at putting together statics? Surely that would decrease the time to get there. If he was very very hardcore, and played with a static for at least 6 hours a night I think it wouldn't be that hard. The time to level any job is the same if you can organise a static even for BST and DRG.

Still, I'm on Gilgamesh so perhaps I'll look this guy up sometime.

That means he found 5 other ppl who could all xp at the same time for that many hours at a time. Granted, its possible and it could be 5 different ppl in the static for each job....but that is still 6 very committed ppl.

sure i am able to judge or make an opinion on any given thing. that is human nature. for you to sit there an lecture me that i have no right doing so. when you yourself do it on a daily basis, that my friend is a joke.

maybe i worded it wrong. the other person said that practicing martial arts for 10 hours a day would be worthless. chuck norris spent those 10 hours a day, then when on to win the main karate tournement, then onto movies. where he did very well. thats what i ment by meet chuck norris, as in someone who did this, not actually meet him face to face.an if you want to still believe it. in china they train for years on end to meet an do action movies with jackie chan.

< icemage> i took it to 55 an then took like a month or so off. basically to fund my gear, an powders til 75. mule number 2 held all powders i made, or bought. mule 3 held all my upcoming gear. but yeah it did burn me out. thats why i think if it is real, there had to be a few playing the char.

i always played video games as a sort of leisure activity. something i did to kill time when friends were grounded. or whatever the case may have been. but hey if his aspirations is to be the best virtual char. then more power to em. i'll keep my aspirations aimed in the RL....

Nin75, Bst75. Drk61, War61, Rdm40, All other jobs are 37. All 3 starting city missions completed. All Zilart missions completed. All CoP missions completed. TouA completed.

To the poster who commented my thing towards SE: It was a joke, wasn't being serious. Sorry tho. I was really looking foward to maybe obtaining it, and I know I won't be able to. Just made me a bit sad is all.

btw, the memos from other koreans. They're just saying stuff like "no way", or "wow I can't believe it", not "I don't believe it's real". Only like 2 posters said that. Here's 2 more screenshots for PROOF that Mumu has it.

He DIDN'T take every job to 75 just to test this out. He had most, if not all jobs 70+ before this patch even came out. ^^

lol if you are a bst at lv 75, you really can do another job's AF quests in pretty much 1 day's worth of time. (in fact I finished my SMN af's in about 2 days just cause I was lazy and was helping my gf's ninja do most of theirs cept for the kuftal tunnel coffer, so about 1.8 job's worth of AF's in 1 day)

You can solo every single AF key with not too much trouble. You can find coffers easily since you generally know where all the chests are to begin with.

The AF NM's can be soloed by a lv 75 character espically if he had bst, smn, rdm, or nin to pick from.

Obviously he would have friends too, it's not hard to get some help from HNMLS's for simple AF runs.

As to hunting down eq and supplies. Really, how much stuff does a job require? I mean if he's got a Scorpion harness from his first pass through the game, there's not much farming he has to do for a lot of the jobs.

Friend of mine is doing his 4th job to AF levels now and there's almost no gil hunting time for him. All the melee jobs share very simular equips, snipers, amemit, lightning bow, scorpion harness, spike necklace, life belt, emperor's hairpin, leaping boots.

Sure there'd be some speciality items for each job but a ton of the eq is interchangable. He doesn't even need to buy anything for his drg/drk/mnk that he's lving anymore. All the eq he needs he already has.

The only thing I can see him lacking is gil for nin and rng.

But again, if he's done his homework, he's probably got like 3-4 potting mules and he can just grow elemental ores 24/7 w/o ever stopping to farm.

I can make about 1.2 mil every month sitting on my hands and checking the moogle every so often on 4 mules. It's not hard to make money in the game and you don't even need uber crafting though it'd probably help in the long run.

1.2 mil every month covers a lot of expendables. It'd be pretty easy to even cover rng and nin expenses with that.

Before we had HQ sushi that cut deep into my pockets (120k ever like 3-4 days), all we had was meat chiefkabobs and those were only like 12k. Money would last longer back then too as well as equipment being a lot cheaper.

Demon arrows were only 4-5k a stack. Shihei was only 3-4k a stack. We still remember these prices.

all 75 jobs isn't impossible even with a good life style.

Look at doctors, they work like 120hrs a week. They drive nice cars, own great houses, have sexy wives, but they have a life outside work? Not all of them do. Heck a lot of doctors complain they have no lives. As do a lot of salary men. Really, define "having a life."

What's the difference with this guy? Heck I know a 60 yr old guy with lung disease playing this game. He's got a lv 75 whm in full relic gear. He stops to go to the hospital for checkups but other than that, he's got nothing to do cause he's retired and has a chronic disease which makes it so he can't do much else other than sit at a desk and have free time.

He's got more friends in the game than he does at his retirement home. Why wouldn't he want to come on and talk with his buddies? Wouldn't you?

                              Is that so very wrong?
                              75/bst, 60/smn, 51/rdm, 46/whm, 40/blm, 37/nin, 37/thf, 37/war, 32/sam, 25/brd, 10/pld, 7/mnk

If this person has *all* jobs at 75, why only announce now that you have, when you would probably have said sooner? What I'm saying is, if such a player exists, then they would probably have been known already. Not just now, when you supposedly need to beat Maat on all jobs (which doesn't imply getting all of them to 75 anyway, 70 would be quite sufficient ;o ).
