You can get level 50 in two weeks with a healthy social life. 2-4 levels week after that, and still not suffer any problem with hanging out with friends. I mean who the hell goes out on a Tuesday? These people have been playing the game for about 3 years now, I think its very possible and yet normal. Simply hard due to the seeking for party factor, but that can be solved easy.
I'm not saying anything about that being true or false. All I was stating was what I saw and was capable of translating. Other then that the guy could very well have all lv. 75s but having to beat mat with all of them is still something I'm not too sure about.

Notice how on the right column, the '5' in the '75' looks almost "cut-off" on the right side? Looks to me to be fake. The background gradient also looks inconsistent around the 75's.
Yes, I thought that was oddly obvious as well. The only 75 that matches the background's gradient is his current job. If you look at the chat box you'll notice the gradient is slanted and alters in color, but the 75s have an obvious boxed look to them that messes with the background.
Also notice there's no picture of the hat actually on his head.

No job, school, friends, family, social life of any kind. Sad.... no matter what "uber' items they've acquired, or the status symbol they are in game, I cant respect someone like that.
How do people like you even define life? Why do you call him sad? You are judging him like you are some superior being because you go see a movie on Friday night or talk to people on the phone. This kid might be 14, or might be a 35 year old man but he did something with his time. Just because video games aren't a physical activity or a real life experience with people in no way makes him sad. He did this for him, not you so please dont judge so quickly knowing absolutely nothing about him.

Waste... of... time.
Once he realizes that part of his life is gone, spent nothing more than on a hobby which will not warrent him any success in the post-FFXI phase of his life, I am sure he will kick himself. I play FFXI right now, and i know that it is just an activity to kill time, but i would never let it take over my social, family, and school life. Whether or not this is a false photograph, having all jobs at 75 (without taking turns playing, a.k.a shifts) would take extreme dedication, and consumtion of one's time. I am only 16 years old right now, and i have set a deadline for me in FFXI. I will quit after this upcoming summer, and prepare myself for University.
And no, FFXI is not considered 'life'. I am also sure that Gman was not considering himself superior to this person, only stating what most people were thinking. When you say "he did something with his time", think about it a little more... Was it productive?
No less productive than someone who spends 10 hours a day training for martial arts, or playing chess, or collecting stamps, or racing cars. You're in no position to judge what makes life worth living, except for yourself.
Aren't you guys putting so much into this?? I'm not surprised that someone (a JPN nonetheless) has done such a thing. Game's been out for 3 years, if he's on PC, then still took em about 2.5 or so. Is it possible?? Maybe, since they take shit way too seriously.
In Japan, gamers (in general whether this type or anything they play) they play to be the best at what they do. They want to be as good if not better than the next person that's playing with them or around them. Take this example, 1 the top players in Japan in the game called Street Fighter. His name is Umehara Daigo. The so called beast of Japan. He spends 8 hours a day on Street Figher before, breaking the game down to how far range a limb is to how many frames it takes from start, hit, on block stun and recovery. 8 freaking hours and that's on the first day of the game. People wonder why he's such a great player?? It's cause he spends time in the game.
This guy (if it's real) has done just that. Spent all his time playing the game, and hasn't stopped since. And probably spends far more time than anyone in the game cause he wants to be the best at what he's doing. Typical JPN's mentality. What's weird is, maybe to them this is normal. Something he loves doing like how most people love going to parties, hanging out with friends, and socializing. To that guy, this is it. Can we blame him?? No. Can we judge him? why would we?? Again, before everyone starts saying "he has no life" look at yourself first and then ask that question. I'm not implying that you yourself doesn't have one, that's not what i'm trying to say here, but stop and ask yourself first before passing on a judgement to someone. Instead of going "I guess SE hates us" we get comments like "finally a reward for not having any life".
That's the problem with our society. We look at gamers and we laugh at them, make fun of them or even degrade them. Instead of being happy for the guy, we instead trash on him, and say "he has no life" comments. I guess the only way you can actually get somewhat of a consolation out of shit like this, is if you make a living out of it, and even that we frown upon (uh..gil sellers anyone?). That's why FPS and Online Strat players aren't made fun off unlike Fighting game players or MMO players because FPS and OS players make money out of their tournaments while the fighting game community only gets small tournament gatherings that probably yields only about 10% of a FPS/OS tournament winnings and MMO's has no tournament based style to hold any type of a tournament like the FPS and OS tournaments. By having that reason alone, if you spent time in the game everyone says you don't have a life. /sigh. Well to me, grats to him (if he has actually done it).
JP
P.S. Now if this is fake, then i'm all for making fun of him.

For what it's worth, I absolutely believe that pic is photoshopped. JP PS2 release was 1091 days ago as of the time of this posting.
15 jobs at 75? No way. You could probably get a mage job to 75 in 2 months if you did nothing else. But melee? Please. I don't know any 75 DRG who took less than 4 months to hit 75 personally, even with a static party, and I doubt it could be done in anything under 3 months due to the impossibility of getting consistent invites. Let's not forget how long it takes to level BST to 75.
1091 days / 15 jobs = 72.3 days per job, or about 2.5 months for each.
No. Way.
If there WERE such a mythical creature as someone who had max level on every job, we'd have long since heard of them by now, since they must have (by inference) hit the level cap each and every time it was raised.

There is a DRG on Titan who claims he went from 1-60 in 2 weeks, and 60-70 in another 2 weeks, or something obscenely fast like that. I believe him too. He does admit he had virtually no outside life during that period though =P.

Future NIN -_-
took me 20 days to get ninja to 55. so to do this to 15 jobs would only take me 300 days. now considering i balanced a 60 hour work week, an a social life. to me this seems still fast.
if you want to add in certain facts like power leveling, using way outdated armor as being totally exceptable, reusing armor for multiple jobs, others playing your char just another job or static parties. an yes having little to no outside life. getting all jobs to 75 doesnt seem to far fetched,,

If you pratcice martial arts 10 hours a day to become a movie star and meet chuck norris than maybe you should revise your concept of martial arts...
Anyway i see nothing strange or wrong with a guy that potentially has all jobs to 75. He has the LUCK of having a lot of free time (it's not a bad thing, you know, nothing to be ashamed of) and is using it in the way he enjoys the most.
But of course people are always ready to find an excuse criticize people that have more than them.... envy is a bad beast...
In the event he did in fact have all jobs to 75, what astounds me is not that he invested so much time into a game, but how he invested so much time into 1 aspect of the game and ignored all others. Getting your first job to 75 generally will take the longest, after that they can generally be done in a matter of weeks if you are devoted to that.
I mean, if that's what he wants to do, go for it, but I personally would go completely and totally insane if the only thing I did in game was XP.
