Ya, and there was another post or two on this thread stating specifically what the GMs do and dont have access to. Not possibilities, but "I know for sure they have these tools" type things.....Yes, we know we know.....

Thx Modri for pointing that out so that I didnt have to be the one to do it.

EDIT : OOPS spelled Modri's name wrong

Obviously since this is such a big issue...

Ever think about contacting the BBB?

I mean, SE implemented these rules, but they aren't doing anything to enforce them. Not living up to their word? Bad business practice. Not to mention that the BBB is actually a concern of companies once they get onto them, because they're persistent and annoying.

I don't know if they could handle something like this, but just an idea, since SE isn't doing anything about their problem.

Umm..nobody cares anymore. SE most likely wont do anything about this...doh. When SEX gets retard "helper" GMs that are related to Arvy, there's no point in asking them anything.

I don't think you can go after a company for not enforcing their own rules. They probably put a loophole clause saying "we reserve the right to change our minds and bend you over and..."

From a legal standpoint square really has nothing they can do. The company is based in china, remember, which limits several legal avenues. Furthmore, as far as banning accounts and such. Im sure with the ammount of money they rake in enough money that thety have 3 more farmer account sets in backup and ready to farm when one set gets banned. even if they dont, whats another 50 dollars and the whole 1 months worth of time to get that drg and whm back to 50 to start all over.

I have a vital suggestion that will help make dragoons and beastmasters pointless to these farmers for pay.

targetnpc would ignore dragoon wyren's of other players, but would obviously target an orcish dragoon pet.

targetnpc would ignore a beastmaster's pet of other players.

So targetnpc would still be used to help claim enemies, but ignore what should not be targeted.

Yes, if we want to reduce the scourge, we need to write to square-enix like how we write to our MP or Congress critter to demand this fix to targetnpc.

I'm basing that off my companies interaction with our customers. By phone which is even slower a single person handles approx. 2,000 calls a day. Now considering that there are 30 servers, if they had at least 1 GM per server they easily have 30 then. That should be more then enough right there to handle all the call requests in a timely manner.
2,000 calls per day? per person? HAHAHAHA.
Working an 8 Hour shift, that would be under 15 seconds per call.

I did say approx. and on a good day their conversations are around 10 - 30 seconds. At least that's what our phone reports say when they are pulled at the end of the day.

I know no physical proof, to much in it for me to be pointing out and having to be explaning it numbers. Even then I'm sure my company wouldn't appreciate me providing all that detail out. So I was just providing basic numbers of our best occurences, even 1,000 a day is still probable. Besides the physical proof I'm still providing much of the mathmatical I can for it, just like you did pointing out the 15 seconds.

Our data entry I know just 1 person is keying around 15,000 records a day in an 8hr span. I know that because I developed the method for them to do that.

So I see no reason why a GM could not handle at least 1,000 - 3,000 a day with little effort.

You're high. It takes at least 15 seconds just to get a response from someone typing on a keyboard. So assuming everyone types ONE response to the GM when they arrive, and the GM can then leave, and that the GM is answering queue requests without pausing for any reason whatsoever, yes they could handle that many calls.

You're what we like to call "a liar".
