These companies like IGE do hurt Square Enix though, the process of making gil in the game is as much needed as the leveling. If those are tampered with then players get to the high levels fast, but then you have even more players loosing intrest in the game even faster. So the full profit that SE could of gotten is taken from them and transferred to this other company instead.
That's basically theft at an intellectual level. I could see that the log may not of been built to be easily manipulated for finding illegal actions in the delivery box. A log however does have to exists just may not be in a form that the GMs can use, probably something that SE is planning to work on with the changes they were talking about to that system.
