Honestly, given how far ahead he is, I have a hard time faulting Obama for not putting in more of an effort. Clearly the election is a marathon, and in this marathon, Obama is a fit, relatively young Kenyan, and Romney is an old, lazy rich guy. Metaphorically speaking.

He's the fucking president, and I'd rather he be spending his time going his job than worrying about every random asshat who comes along.

Besides that, apparently Obama actually hates Romney, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's holding back from really getting argumentative for the sake of not coming off as a dick himself.

Biden's going to lose that debate (probably). Ryan is smooth and telegenic. Also less gaffe-prone.

Hmm idk, Biden's no slouch. Just has to keep that foot of his out of his mouth, he's not up against a retard this time. Still looking forward to it though, as I'm sure despite everything, he'll probably let slip a few remarks that'll make for great TV rofl... Oh Joe.


The 2nd debate is apparently going to be in a Town Hall format, where Obama usually does pretty well at so hoping to see a much better performance then. I agree, he definitely looked tired, almost uninterested really in the 1st one.

The problem was Obama just didn't jump on Romney with all the openings he left... I could scarcely believe it. Especially when he talked about that poor woman he said he'd help, that was *the* time to smack him with the 47% remark. Romney was absolutely lying through his teeth the whole time, and PBS called him out on it in the post-debate analysis.


I think Obama was just sizing Romney up. The VP debate should be far more interesting lol.

No, he wasn't prepared. As for lies, aside from stomping Obama's blatant ones, they shared most of the same lies. Romney proved he has no intention of repealing Obamacare in full and why would he? Obamacare is Romneycare, just at the federal level. They're both terrible one-size-fits-all solutions to the same problem, Romey's is only a touch more practical, but still terrible.
