Current rental cost £495 / month plus bills and food runs up to £900/month without anything going wrong with car only 3/4 tank bought of fuel and no luxaries. The government will give me the following Job seekers allowance £72.50 a week = £290 a month and housing benefit due to the bedroom tax and because I am a single male with no kids I will only get £210 housing benefit which totals £500. I have no savings to pay for the extra 400/month i need to live and need to run teh car to drive to job interviews (of which I have to pay for the fuel as they have scrapped giving you a small amount towards it) So staying with a mate will cost me half his rent and half the bills = £350/month +food and running the car so I can just afford it and live on cheap food.

(I'd be heart broken if I have to part with my cats... After over 10 years, they aren't pets, they're family members. Well, family members who cough hairballs onto my bed...)

Considering I've been made redundant again and only properties I can afford to move into end of My wont have pets so having to look at rehoming my cat so yep shitty start to year

The person who runs our Sharepoint site is a fucking idiot and has no idea how to develop anything.

It's gotten to the point where I have volunteered to take it on as an additional task and without any real scripting knowledge (other than HTML) because I'm sure I could do a better job than this daft woman.

And yeah, it doesn't work in this version of IE that came with my new computer.

Honestly the worst thing they ever added to Sharepoint was for the ability for people with access to it to actually launch a feature. Having to deal with the chaos that has been caused because when we said "The feature is still indev, don't launch it, it won't be ready for at least three weeks, but we can give access for training purposes", and they just heard "launch it"...Yeah

Oh well at least all the overtime the clusterfuck produced has already paid for either a PS4 or new Laptop.

Quite a bit of that is fairly accurate. The Sansa assessment is more accurate earlier in the book but as more and more things happen she becomes kind of repressed, for lack of a better term.

I can't even say that I like her so much as I like her slightly more than I did earlier in the series. I don't think she's going to ever be a good person, especially the more she gets stuck hanging around Kings Landing, but she matured some from the first season to the third (I'm still on the first book though lol), and I appreciated that.

I also really just love Hodor, that guy is a hoot.

Oh, and the red wedding left me in a huge state of shock, even though my coworker and my boyfriend both warned me about it. They just told me, "Wait until you see the red wedding!" without telling me what I was going to see and I was just like ... what the fuck ...

Y'know, like I've said, I've never seen the show. So while I was reading, I had ideas in my head about what all the characters look and sound like.

Eddard Stark- I know he's the guy who played 006 in Goldeneye. But everytime he had a speaking part, I kept hearing his voice as Liam Neeson.
Catelyn Tully- As you guys know, I often play Tabletop games. I usually pictured Catelyn as the lady on the cover of "The Resistance: Avalon"
Robb Stark- Tiz Arrior from Bravely Default (would say I'm way off for this one, but I believe they aged Robb in the TV show). Not with such a grainy voice though.
Bran Stark- Following up with that, I imagined Bran as Til Arrior, who actually is NOT far off from the TV show portrayal.
Sansa Stark- A generic Disney pop princess.
Jon Snow- I still don't really have an image in my mind of what he looks like, but it wouldn't be like his TV portrayal so he's actually supposed to be only 1 year older than Joffrey...I think.
Lysa Tully- In an old episode of Law and Order: SVU, there was a semi-famous actress that plays a lady stalking a little girl she believes to be her child.
Robert Baratheon- That guy who plays Porthos in The Man in the Iron Mask.
Loras Tyrell- Speaking of The Man in the Iron Mask, The "Knight of Flower" probably looks as dainty as Leonardo diCaprio did back in he 90s.
Cersei Lannister- The "Morgana" card in "The Resistance: Avalon", except blonde.
Jaime Lannister- Generic, attractive, blonde-haired, blue-eyed "Aryan-Race" sort of man.
Joffrey Baratheon- For better or worse, his picture is pretty much on every meme I could immediately recognize as A Game of Thrones, so I knew what he looked like long before reading. Same goes for...
...Tyrion Lannister. His image is even on the novel boxset's cover. So there was no imagination necessary there.
Daenerys Targaryen- I actually envisioned her exactly as she appears in the show.
Varys- Exactly as he appeared in the show.

How I Met Your Mother ended last night. It definitely wasn't as good in the more recent seasons as it was in the first 3 or four, but truthfully how many 9 season shows are? Still really enjoyed the finale and it will definitely be missed. Hell, I've been watching it virtually all of my adult life.
