servers are in japan. players are in japan. server connection is sent halfway acorss the world to us, so they see spawns faster and get them alot. watch a JP spam /targetnpc /ja "Provoke" on a NM for 2 minutes. it will spawn voked before yous ee the mob.

that macro won't work for aquarious because there are TONS of mobs all around where he spawns, so you'll be figthing things well before AQ spawns

Aquarius drop rate is so low anyway it isn't worth camping. KA drops better items but spawns every 24 hours, instead of a random lot + 2hours interval. Try pulling against a JP RDM/PLD some time, 0 chance of you getting it ; ;

Most of them aren't using bots, just spamming /targetnpc, provoke macros with a rapid fire controller. Having a wyvern out does mess this up though as they will target it.

i use the F8 to target stuff so i don't accidentally hit nearby mobs that i don't want to hit. i dunno if it was this recent update or not, but i can't seem to target wyverns with F8 anymore.

I refuse to lvl til I have my dark and ice staves. I have all spells and eq up to 64 already other than these ( and flare). So i figures maybe stoper chyme would be a good investment of my time. Suprisingly, I won the lot very often.. I spent so much time there i got pretty damn fast (blm/war)

24 hours of camping Stroper Chyme ( spread over 3 days).
101 Chyme kills
0 Archer rings
26 Wind clusters ( all of which sold in under an hour early saterday for 1600-2k in all cities .. used mules obviously)
18 Oil slimes ( also sold all for 700g/ea)
And 2 flame degens.

Total profit for 24 hours of camping... not enough. Maybe 30k or so. Im up to 100k with 60k in AH... almost to my first staff One Archer ring and I can get both.

I think blms underestimate thier ability to kill elementals.

Had I killed all the air elementals that spawned I would have doubled my profit. Still not worth the time at that particular spot.. just a suggestion to kill all the lucrative elementals you see.

I run around killing elementals in the northlands for extra cash, tho it's not really good income for the time invested unless you get a lucky weather pattern. They're probably the most uncontested mob to kill so at least you can do it while watching tv or something ;p

Can a 30 BLM -ga farm in Pashow? If not what lvl should I be before I attempt? Also, how importnat is it to have theif subbed?

Low lvl farming <18 - 20> (good to have whm sub) go to N Gustaberg <pal mines side> and go on the Hill < Zegham i beleave> and train the shyt outa Maneating Hornets they drop beehive chips and pots of honey <Honey 1k and Chips 3-3.5k a stack> and if ur lucky ull see sophie and kill it for beestinger <5k at AH>

You can definately not -ga farm in pashhow. You would do good to kill singles there at 30. In fact, for the most part, pashhow isnt a great -ga area at any lvl since linking mobs there tent to be spread out. At level 30ish you would be better off not farming at all. Instead either fish or mine. Those will get you more money safer than anything else until you are more powerful.

The only problem with -ga farming is it takes 4-5 mins to round up enough monsters, and 5 mins of downtime afterwards...never seemed worth it to me.

yeah thats definitely true. i was a complete gimp in terms of equipment up until high 30s to 40s. thats when i started getting better equipment because i could farm much better. i don't remember what i preyed on but, i remember elementals being one of them.
