Do you bother with Ancient nukes for the ele debuff they offer or do you just Thunder 4, sleep, thunder 4, sleep, thunder 4, sleep, med, etc :D

I dont think you can sleep aquaris, im not 100% sure though. I have seen a THF/NIN solo him, but that involved a lot of running around, and usisng potions.

I would assume that he kills him by using gravity, (blink) runing back, nuking, and regravity. Maybe bind, but if you could sleep aquaris, then any rdm could solo him, (since a rdm can solo any mob you can sleep) so I dont really see anyother way he would kill it.

My rdm is 69, when i hit 74 I will be all over aquaris, but only with nin sub.

You can't sleep him, or if you can it's beyond the abilities of a level 75 blm (sleeping him that is). I tried 5 times, all no go, even with elem seal.

Thanks for all of your replies.. ^_^ I've been leveling thief (hell) to 15 only 4 lvl's away jajaja. After thats done I'm going to take BLM with my elv. I was thinking of hunting tigers when i was in a good level range to fight them but since tigers are fast attackers thats just a big no no for me.

hunting tigers is fine. at 54 when i was first fighting them, i could go about 45 minutes before needing to rest for mp (used it all up casting drain).

Gravity-->Nuke-->Aspir-->Nuke

Just regravitize if it wears off and keep the same pattern up.
You will be really tight on MP, so I recommend using a Melon Pie and possibly using manafont if you need it.

i find that west saruta is the best place for getting silk threads when you're lower level...shakrami maze also has a ton of crawlers but they're considerably more difficult

Isnt it a little harder to gravity marathon aquarius since they grow a resistance? How often does it drop damakus(sp) threads anyway? Gives me an idea tho, since my LS often finds him just sitting there

maybe duo-ing aquarius would be good...then you won't have to rely on things like mp shortages? i mean it spawns pretty often...with 2 black mages, it goes down two times faster and standing far away from each other, you can have aquarius run back and forth deciding which one to hit. anyway, just a thought. i'd also like to know how often it drops the damascene cloth drops.

My lvl PT offen kill aquarius.. we use gravitation.. Rdm gravi, Pld just voke and run in circles, i (BLM) nuke and the SAM and RNG just run behind smacking it... we kill effectivelly since lvl 60.. got him down 12 times last week... total drops of that dasmacene Thread.... 1!!!!

If you actually want the cloth, you should camp KA, but then you have to deal with the 20 other people there, 6 of which are probably JP using external spamming program as rdm/pld or with voke.

Artho spawns "claimed" to every NA player there almost 100% of the time.
