Feba and his peers have created a persona of him being a huge jerk in his posts (even though he's really not), but that doesn't excuse him from the rules other users have to follow.

Sega consoles were much better designed than Nintendo consoles, for the most part. Hell, if it weren't for Nintendo's first party exclusives I wouldn't bother; their console hardware is terribly uninteresting and lack innovation of any sort.

As for SE's next MMO: it was originally announced as a PS3/Vista exclusive. Last we heard from it (which was a long, long time ago, so things probably have changed since then), it was in development for Vista and 360, and a PS3 version was merely "a possibility." We will probably, finally, get solid information at TGS this year.

LOL Linux is mainly used by Networkers and Programmers, it is an open for public. (By server conditions, and also the console is used by these guys too but heh.)
Linux is the most common used edition in Hosting, goto hosting companys out there.
It is open and available but it is most used for a server option Red Hat, Debain.. ect rackspace - aplus - View these sites and select cPanel or Plesk 8.5. You'll learn a lesson son. Also there are tons more companys using these mainly all use Linux as the default.

Windows is open mainly OPEN FOR BASIC USERS.
While linux is for MORE ADVANCED. But you can obtain Linux for FREE at some of their sites.

It's a very, very long list. If you insist though, have fun looking through these and highlighting all the ones that haven't made it onto the VC yet. Never mind all the JP exclusive games (like the first few fire emblem games on NES)

My point your statement was utter BS. Not backwards compatible? The PS3 has a massive library ready for use, while the Wii has a much more limited selection (especially if what Shigeru said proves to be true about 1st party only titles.) I'm not attacking the Wii (I luvs mine), just your blatant oversight.


Oh and PaiPai, you got that next MMO thing mixed up. It was Vista and 360 that SE said at E3. Only recently have they included PS3 into the mix.

you seem to have missed the statement again.... its not the number of games available but what number of them are 100% compatible with the system, in that team the Wii fits that bill and the 360 and PS3 do not, yes they are all backwards compatible, but only the Wii is 100%.

I'd like to know where that came from. I don't really care about Nintendo, they just have the only console this generation that's truly backwards compatible afaik. I prefer Sega to Nintendo though, I'd almost always rather have a Sega console than a Nintendo console, if they still made them.

It's really a moot point. The upside of Sega consoles was the lineup of first party games put out by Sega. The downside of Sega consoles was all the other games put out on their systems. Now that Sega is out of the console business, and doing games for other consoles, you don't need a Sega developed console to enjoy Sega developed games.

Nintendo overcharges for games you can download on ROMs with little incentive to do otherwise. Microsoft and Sony offer exclusive, stand-alone game releases for download. Sony takes it a step further with more fully-realized downloadable games such as Warhawk and SOCOM: Confrontation.

Needless to say, the only VC game I'll bother to invest in is Earthbound. Hopefully strong sales of that download will lead Nintendo to localizing Mother 3.

Yeah, but you can probably count the number of WORTHWHILE Sega games since the death of Dreamcast that are actually worth the time

EDIT: Paipai, yes, but the Wii still has far more, which was the point. Although Wii Ware should be amazing minigame fun awesomeness in about six months

Sorry I hurt you by stating the truth. The 360 is a dying breed in Japan. Nintendo in the lead with Sony in second is leaving it in the dust.

Bonus: 360 does not have hdd standard on all sku's which further makes it less likely for it to be considered on the same plate as PC/PS3 by SE.

And it had damn well better be! As much noise as the Dreamcast makes, I more than half expected it to take off from my entertainment center, fly to SEGA and bring me back a game! "Good Dreamcast!"

Maybe it's time to bust out my Dreamcast again. Hmmm. Haven't played it in like 8 months.

Hiromichi Tanaka: I'm still working on XI as it's on-going but we are also working on a next-generation MMORPG for 360 and Vista but PS3 is a possibility.

As of the time of this interview earlier in the year, Tanaka went on record stating that their next MMO is primarily for 360 and Vista, with PS3 being "a possibility."

Yes, the 360 is floundering in Japan, but that's not stopping Square Enix from focusing their next MMORPG effort for it. Perhaps they've signed a Games for Windows Live deal?

I am looking forward to seeing what Nintendo has planned for WiiWare, although I'm not certain it'll be worth getting excited over, as their entire online plan is ridiculously disfigured at the moment.
