I've found that doing synths that are significant higher than you makes it harder to get skillups. The fact that it's 9 levels above isnt going to help.

Yeah, throwing my money away like that made it apparent I had to make some changes. Granted, tiger fangs are easily the cheapest skill up synth for me right now, 69.2 wasn't enough skill and so I didn't uncap bone yet (still craftsman rank), and instead I'm focusing on the guild items. I have the glasses now, and 35k towards the apron. With the apron and glasses I'll be at 71.2 technically, and adv. support I think is another +3, so I'll be 5 under the cap when I start skilling up again. And from what I've read in the past few days, you won't get a skill up on a failed synth until you're within 5 levels of the item cap.

And I recently got asked if I would craft a scorpion harnass, but I'm going to wait till I get bonecraft to at least 75. And after I get my apron, I'll get a contract at the leathercraft guild and work on getting the 70k GP gloves. Hopefully I'll get this all done within two months.

That is something harsh, if you don't have any proof....
If you have any proof, show it, if no proof stfu.

I have myself about 3 Mio in Armor and Cash also several Highlevel crafting skills, but i don't buy gil.

Don't the high level synths use items you get by desynthing titanicus fish? I'm at 48.5k GP to the apron, so hopefully I'll have that in 2 or 3 weeks.

@ 44,5k guildpoints and also going for Apron. And I always hate when you need to trade a Bandit gun for points

It has been accurate everyday I have used it. Only problem I've had is when I forget I'm still craftsman and get items to turn in for an artisan :sweat: And aside from the guns and cat bahkhanas, I turn in pretty much everything. Turtle shells are very rare, so I just desynth shell shields for a bit.

you dont need smithing skill for cat. 3 smithing is so low you can craft it even you have 0 smithing

It isn't about smithing, it is about spending 1k to get 82 guildpoints. Easily the worst Gil::GP ratio I've come across.
