Yo'n stuff. David Lital of Midgardsormr here, and I've got an interesting rumor that has spread across my server. Supposedly, mining is worse on earthsday and lightningsday. Someone came up with a strange reasons behind these rumors.

One was that on earthsday the ground is harder, thus making it more difficult to mine stuff out of it.

The other said that, due to the metal in the pickaxes, lightningsday was bad because your axe acts as a conductor (I think this one is crap, because most mines I know of are caves).

What do you think?

I've tested that and I tested moon phase and from the testings I've done (mainly recording day and moon phase and comparing results) I'd say that no moon phase or day of the week does not affect mining results. EXCEPT for when it comes to what colored rock you get.

Yes, someone in my linkshell swears that lightsday is the best day to mine. Whatever, I've never noticed a difference.

I've got the HQ mining gear and I've found that it is an improvement over the regular gear. I freely admit that it could have been just chance that I got 3 adamans in a single ifrit's run the night I bought all 3 pieces, but nevertheless, that's the only thing I've personally found to make any difference. (Also note I've never gotten results QUITE on par with that run since =P )
