    Re: Elder Scrolls SKYRIM

    My only gripe about western RPGs is the common tendency to make a "boss" feel like another rank and file peon. People complain about the bosses in DX:HR but they feel at least like a break from the rank and file in the same way bosses in Metal Gear Solid do. Major bosses should feel like a big, special occasion. They don't need to be ten story terrors like in Metroid, but some could stand to be.

    I played for a couple of hours last night, but I stopped because it was going to be an all nighter by the looks of it. <_<;

    Why is Skyrim so awesome, and why do I have to work? (T-T )

    At least playing XIV I can stop after a couple of hours without withdrawals. <_<

    Yeah, that build sounds tough to me, at least from the get go. Well come to think of it, as the game progresses that might be the most entertaining build... As I stated before, I went with the 2 handed warhammer with smithing and enchanting build. I have warhammer maxed out so i doo 100% more damage with it, and it ignores 100% of a monsters armor... I have my daedric warhammer enchanted with soul trap, and 80% of the monster I fight i kill in 1 regular swing, 95% of the monster i kill in 1 swing with the power swing. I also have my dragon armor legendary with increased stamina and health regen. I've increased the game play as high as it goes to expert, and still it's hard to find a challenging fight... I'm going to finish the game though.

    I have to rebuild my Punchmage, I accidentally deleted her when I was moving some saves around. Oh well, only got her to the 7000 steps anyway.

    My character was becoming too powerful/boring. Breton, 99 Smith and Enchant with One-Hand+ armor and Health/Mana Drain sword, Atronach Stone for a 100% absorption of magic which equals to unlimited Healing magic ability...

    I just rushed to beat the game and get him over with. Maybe whenever DLC comes out, I'll pick it up again with a new character.

    My Skyrim soundtrack arrived!

    Also, again I'm feeling bad about my current character build. Thought I'd go a little more indirect, with a sort of Illusionist Fighter. But even if it's turning out to be more effective then my attempt to ape Red Mage in Skyrim, I'm just not enjoying it. Restart yet again?!

    Re: Elder Scrolls SKYRIM

    So last night in Skyrim I'm getting towards the end of the Thieves guild questline, and I tracked the bad guy down to these dungeon ruins. I was stuck for over 30 mins, trying to figure out the way to get through the ruins. There was a gate here and a couple switches, one over there, and then one way over there, and traps all throughout the middle. I'd run over here and check things out, run back through the traps over here... So on and so forth for a good 30 mins. I was getting fed up and ready t turn it off for the night, then i started singing the frustrated song aloud.

    "i cant find it, this pisses me off; i cant find it, this pisses me off; i cant find it, this pisses me off; i cant find it, this pisses me off"

    then my wife who's alying beside me in bed chimes in:

    "baby you'll find it because your a geek; baby you'll find it because your a geek; baby you'll find it because your a geek; baby you'll find it because your a geek"

    a fence?

    You need to go to Dawnstar and speak to the weirdo in red in the Museum for the Mythic Dawn

    Only a spoiler if you haven't played the first 5 minutes of Oblivion <_<;

    Then agree to help the guy, and follow the lulz.

    Is this an actual place on the map i can find and do the quest, or do i need to goto a certain city and speak with someone to flag it?
