    Sleeping too much gives me migraines.

    When I didn't have a job, I slept a lot. It was pretty great.

    Thanks Grizzle. That pretty much sums it up in a nutshell.

    As it is, I'm just waiting for the confirmation to start, which is whenever the goddamn background check comes back. Fucking state is taking forever. So I should be starting this week, but since I don't know, I'm not sure if I want to spend the money now, or wait a few more days.

    Although I'm reasonably sure that if I spend the $15 now, I could find something to sell/pawn if I really needed it. I've done some figures and determined that as long as I start working this week, I should be able to get my bills paid, barring anything unexpected cropping up.

    I'm glad that I at least have cable. If I had to spend all day watching the main four channels, I'd definitely kill myself. Soap operas and talk shows? {No fucking thanks.}

    While I agree, it feels easier than it used to be, I wouldn't use that particular screenshot as evidence. While it may say powerful, what you're really getting are a few defining abilities for the tree you select. It's pretty neat, although disappointing that those talents aren't available any other way.

    I've gone through the closed beta as well and I have different reasons for not wanting to play WoW again. Mainly that my friends have (for the most part) decided not to continue (there are a handful of guildies that went over to another guild as a result) and that was pretty much the reason for my being there in the first place. The game itself is fine and Blizzard does a good job with the product at hand and being able to satisfy the mainstream consumers. On the other hand, the level of challenge has evaporated over the years and maybe it's because I am jaded but I don't feel compelled by either the new content or the addition of the new races.

    Blanket statements like this just serve to make you look like an immature jackass. Unless you've been in a similar situation to Aks you really should suppress your urge to share your wealth of worldy experience with us. Having been out of work myself in the past it's very soul-destroying spending days, weeks and months applying for positions in a depressed market and lacking the money to be able to go out and do anything. So you find yourself either walking 20 miles a day to break the monotony or sitting in your house staring at the same four walls doing your best not to let yourself accept it. $15 may mean you don't eat as well one or two days but it's a month's worth of alternative entertainment because if one thing is certain it's that watching daytime tv will rot your fucking brain and have you taking a bath with a toaster in short order.

    So now I'm downloading the client again and will do a full install of the game, but I'm still debating on whether or not I want to pay for the game right now with my current financial situation being what it is. Yeah, it's only 15 bucks, but I might need that, and I still haven't started working again yet.

    On some levels I liked WoW, but I could never shake the feeling that I was being coddled instead of challenged. There's just no edge to WoW.

    I wouldn't mind playing with you guys, but our FFXIO linkshell in FFXIV is pretty quiet...

    Anyways, we'd need to figure out which battlegroup to roll on, and then which server to roll on.

    I'll have to get the Us client since I'm on the EU servers and all so good luck with that :p

    Some of the changes they've made are pretty huge too, like Hunters don't need ammo anymore.
