    Re: Guild Wars 2

Ok, I restarted my Mesmer char and went with Ranger/hunter skills (wont be finishing the second job for a while.)

Someone I met while trying to get the Rez quest done gave me a nice staff with illusion bonuses, and also told me about the /bonus command. Got an imp pet that's wicked strong which made it way easier for me to level up fast (only lvl 4 right now, but no quest xp involved for the most part.) Again, this game is waaaaay more welcoming than others. <_<

    Let's see if I can get lvl 20 in 5 weeks. /yay

I believe it is somewhere in the lore. I learned about it when I started doing my research for GW2, as the Charr have completly taken back their homeland in GW2, after a few wars.

    Hmmm...

I'm actually interested in getting that title for many of the reasons listed in the wiki. Plus I only have 5 weeks before 11.11.11, after that I'm probably going to spend the next 500+ game-time hours doing nothing but killing dragons and looking for rare plants.

So might as well spend my limited GW time on something relatively worth it in.

    Or dye trying.

Can't send anything to your pre-searing character.

As for moving items between characters, it's definitely possible but as Takelli said unfortunately you can't send anything to your pre-searing (pre-first mission) characters. Sad. Once you are in the next section of the game you can transfer items between characters all you want.

I would suggest continuing on with this character for now, then create a new character after you've played through the game if you decide you want the 'Defender of Ascalon' title. Otherwise, you'll get bored with using the same skills, equipment, etc. over and over again for 50-100 days.

Anyways, Raydeus, while you're running around with Gwen, before you take your first mission, you should try to earn what's called the "Defender of Ascalon" title by reaching level 20. See here: Defender of Ascalon - GuildWiki, the unofficial Guild Wars wiki

It'll make the first 70% of the game easy as pie too since you'll be way overleveled.

Actually, on second thought, the wiki says it takes 101 days to get it with the fastest method available. Forget it lol you'll grow tired of the game by then.

It says 101 days if you don't kill anything and just do quests, but complementing Vanguard with mob farming should make things much faster I hope..

Just one question, since I can just delete and remake my char to save the quest xp for later (have only played like 6 hours so far so I wont lose anything remaking.) If I make another test character to advance the story line can I send the better weapons and armor I get back to my pre-searing char?

and if everything fails and I get bored of it I'll just have a well geared lvl 10+ char for moving forward.

Is that Eye of the North? Because I'm barely starting Prophecies. XD

But I'll stop asking now since it seems I'm about to jump into a sea of spoilers.

XD. Gwen is the reason why Ascalon fell, even though it was rightfully the Charrs in the first place. Gwen also has grown up a bit in EOTN.

    Gwen? Really? o_O

She just gave me a shirt or something for giving her a new flute and some flowers while running around killing mobs with her.

Didn't know she could actually fight.

Edit > And I need to look for info on Heroes because I didn't know you could level them up and stuff.

Yes... Gwen is pretty good as a mesmer.... Can lock down almost any mob with the correct build.

Heroes are where it's at... my team of heroes are pretty much unstoppable. It helps that the hero AI can be taken advantage of for certain builds, mostly for Mesmer.

Haha. Just get all of your Heroes up to max level, and farm it with them. I remember getting the Scythe that my derv has.... The boss could insta kill three people in one swing. XD

And the interrupts are only from certain skills. But, Axe just has more interrupt skills than sword does.
