    I agree that people need to get over their hangups about nudity. The naked human form is nothing to be disgusted by or afraid of.

          Actually I beleave she said the exact opposite to that. Just because someone doesn't meet other people's stereotype of the perfect body they shouldn't be required to wear clothes. Noone's perfect, you shouldn't be ashamed of what you've got.

                        that debate didnt last nearly long enough beteween the phsychologist and the game expert . didnt seem like they really were able to get things across...merely start to say what they wanted...I wanted to see them argue more.

                        and for the whole naked thing...i couldnt care less what i see and dont think anything about it but i personally wouldnt expose myself...

                          I thought this topic might be dying down, but I saw something that has made me realize that Video Games are truly and quickly becoming a huge influential media/entertainment branch. I am talking on the scale on TV and the Internet.

                          When Fox news would waste their time reporting on a less than 2 min scene in a video game that only suggests an intimate moment with an alien and shows 3 seconds of a bare naked blue ass... than they are that most kids who would even buy this game are less than 30 seconds from some of the dirtiest smut you can find on the internet by typing 2-3 words into google. Then I know that Video Games are truly making their own niche into society. This is the classic example of media attacking something they don't know enough about...

                          This same thing happened early on with TV and also the internet... now no one gives a shit.

                          But, anyway... I'm glad EA is calling them on it.

                            Exactly the point I've made many many times through the years. We obsess about video games yet the content on television is by far more graphic than games are. I think watching a horror movie that shows someone's head get cut off is by far more damaging to a young person than seeing it done to cartoon person. Yes, video games are getting more realistic but they are also policed far better than a television program is. And nudity and sexual situations, well pfft....video games don't even come close!

                              Of course they'll never admit it. Fox would implode if someone truly compared the content on their network (I only ever really watch their animated shows, but some of their live action stuff seems even worse) to any mass market video game.

                              But then whenever someone is playing video games, that's one more TV that can't be tuned into their advertisements boosting their ratings and making them money. They have to attack video games, it's the only way they have left of defending their business.

                                Truly appalling. Fox news has absolutely no journalism, it's all entertainment. The Onion has more journalistic integrity than Fox news.
