Which is a real fucking bitch and just perpetuates the cycle (and why I fucking hate my home town so much). Been looking for a new job since I lost my last one, but then it takes forever and no one wants to give me a chance and then if I'm lucky I get an interview (had like 2 in the last few years wtf...) but they go with someone else 'cause experience or w/e... I mean it's like OK, you I'm dead serious about working and want the job but you don't want to give me it because I been out of work for so long but I've been looking for work all that time so... what?

Fucking city, it's all about who you know (or blow).


As for something that makes me smile: Pusheen. Even on the shittiest days, a little Pusheen goes a long way ^_^

Apply for everything, even shit you're 100% sure you don't meet any of the qualifications for. Put in your cover letter that you know you don't meet their specs but you're confident you have the ability to pick it up quickly and work beyond their expectations.

What kind of jobs you applying for? This is an entry level job unfortunately. Ever since I got fired for misconduct, I've been applying for all sorts of jobs, but I have this feeling I'm going to have to start from the bottom again.

So several members of my FFXIV Guild were convinced that I'm TotalBiscuit because I apparently sound like him when in rant mode about terrible game design choices in ARR on TeamSpeak (Atma Farming, Drop System in general, PvP being utterly broken, Cross Server bullshit), and games in general. And also while snarking about horrible PUGs when farming Coil for gear.

I really don't sound like him (anyone from the D&D group can tell you that I do not sound like him at all), but when you have someone who is utterly convinced and won't believe you when you yell "I'M NOT TB!" and you just end up saying "You know what? Fuck it, I'm going into full on troll mode with this guy. Let the madness commence!".

I think the only time I have ever sounded like him is when I yell "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" when frustrated with random PUGs.

It was fun while it lasted I guess. Time to go back to being the resident Black Mage question person (Is that even a thing? I really don't think it's a thing...)
