Ah, the perils of temping.

Got a call from the agency while I was in class, call them back, find out that my position is being eliminated effective immediately and don't come in tomorrow, oh btw we'll send you your stuff.

Fuckin awesome.


Sad thing is, while I do need to work, I actually don't care that much. I'm more concerned about the fact that someone is going to be touching my shit (I hate that) than the fact that I won't have any income. Well, unless you count the VA money I get from being a college student. So I'm not freaking out, in fact, I'm hardly upset. Just another day. I'm going to look into substitute teaching, which is something I can do around my school schedule and will give me experience in the field. Meanwhile, I have a degree to work on.

Ho hum.

Yep. I'm guessing the groom's side is local, and has tons of people to invite, and the bride's side is desperately trying to contact everyone they know on the island to not be completely outmatched.

Apparently, fiancé refers solely to the male betrothed. The female equivalent being fiancée.

I only know that because it was mentioned in a reddit I was reading earlier.
