Remodeled my room. The works; loft bed to save space, new colour scheme with the walls and furniture, and finally got my BroNYCon posters framed and set up.

Kind of freaky, though. Obviously since this is my most frequent visited room, it's kind of like stepping into someone else's house.

After the first week of school not being so bad, gouging my shins at the gym doing Leg Press calf raises, having to waste 3 hrs of my day yesterday for unnecessary training for my AI position, I have everything moved into my new apartment, most everything bought, furniture put together, bed and couch delivered, I can finally say I am moved into my apartment. There is a lot of crap to put away still. Best part, after factoring my final summer pay check, the return of my deposit from my apartment in Richmond, Va, and my parents paying for the bed and couch as a graduation present, including next months rent, I will only lose $470 from my saving account

Finished building the Bizzaro forum. It's now fully operational and ready to use.

Its purpose is mainly to be a place we can all go in the event that 1 of 2 things ever happens.

1: TM or one of us MODs breaks something and the server goes down...

2: PiNG finally decides to shut us off

Thanks everyone.

He's 9 weeks old now and is starting to get settled into a little routine. The first week was hell, both he and I ended up back in hospital the day after they discharged me. Crappy NHS policy c-sections now only get 48 hours on the ward then they'll kick you out, regardless of the baby struggling to feed, c-section wound being infected or w/e. They're much happier to discharge you and you end up in A&E, because you're no longer their problem.

Anyway, all is well now, been given the all clear by the doctors so I can drive again (Yay!)... happy happy.

Congrats Uma. Enjoy what little sleep you are going to get....

After a week of set backs (water cooler failure due to someone turning off the breaker, previous user mucking up the source, having to evacuate the instrument for >24 hrs) I have finally started collecting my first set of data. The first step toward my PhD has been taken.
