we had a guy come in here a few months back had a customized truck. he had (not sure of spelling) mikey thompson valve covers and he wanted something to go with the mt.

my dad figured out a way to get them held in the machine with a little work and engraved mini-trucker in university block style lettering.

Cool, I have a brand-new rotor I haven't changed in yet. Lol. Which, if you know anything about cars, would be the stupidest thing to engrave considering engraving would be basically adding to the wear and tear and thus shortening its lifespan.

Well my son thinks its perfectly fine to grind those into f'in dust. >< When he was driving my car he didn't say anything about the brakes needing to be fixed. Then one day his dad and him were trying to argue quietly without me hearing but I caught the word brakes. So I ask whats going on and hubby tells me that its nothing and that the brakes need to be fixed on my car so they were trying to figure out when to take it in. I said to make sure to do it sometime this week and they thought that Friday was a good day. (The day this happened on was Sunday.) So later that day I decided that we would go out to eat and that we'd go in my car. They tried to talk me out of going in the car but I stuck to my guns. Well...as we pulled away from the house I knew why they tried to get me to go in the van....it sounded like there was a f'in gnome in the trunk with a god damn grinding wheel sharpening axes!!!! I have NEVER EVER heard a car make those noises in my life! I screamed for them to pull the car over and as I was getting out I stuck my head in and said "And this fucking car is going in the shop TO-MOR-ROW! UNDERSTOOD!?"

How in the hell can someone let the brakes go for so long that they need new roters and everything!? You have no idea how pissed off I was. I love my car. Well, the brake job was a little over A THOUSAND DOLLARS in the end and I made that little shit pay half too. I hate the way he drives zipping up to stops and then slamming on the damn brakes. Honest to god the kid drives like he's in Grand Theft Auto at times. I thought he was more mature than that.

Holy damn. I know how to change mine out myself but I have a friend who likes doing car stuff so I let him do it, and he does the whole shebang for free.

My brakes got really bad when I had a sticking caliper. We had just changed the pads out and a couple months later they started grinding again, well come to find out, the caliper sticking had caused a full rub on one side, grinding the rotor and the pad down to nothing. Got that fixed up with a brand new caliper and all was well. I wish we would have noticed the sticky caliper before, but hell, brake pads aren't all that expensive so it wasn't a terrible loss.

Ya my husband is a useless pile of goo that watches tv all god damn day so no way he'd help fixing anything. Hell I used to do the oil changes but when it got too much for me I asked him to take over. He did about a half a dozen and then decided that he'd rather pay someone else $30 to do it. Lazy asshole...

And before anyone thinks I'm ungrateful here:

My shower stopped working TEN YEARS AGO. It took him 3 years to buy the parts and guess what...HE STILL HASN'T FIXED IT!

My living room was redone but it took 7 years to do it. All that he had to help with was to strip the woodwork, stain it, and paint the god damn walls.

The fence was falling apart because he neglected to do repairs on it so it had to be taken down. He was putting a new one up 5 years ago and guess what....yep...still not up.

Oh trust me I could list a dozen more things here that he needs to do but hasn't touched. (You should see my garage!!!) They are all things that he has it within his power to do but just doesn't do. I'm not a nagger and maybe I should be...maybe thats what it takes to get the shit done....but somehow I doubt it.

Dealing with some family issues has me a bit down.... Mom is dealing digging into her past and dealing with some of her personal issues with her therapist. Unfortunately she doesn't want to, these are painful, etc etc and so she is lashing out and life can be rather unpleasant because when she lashes out, she reacts far too strongly. So if you do some minor little thing it is immediately jumped upon, stomped all over, you're yelled at, etc.

What really makes me mad however requires a bit of backstory. Long time ago my dad and I were having issues, and mom was having issues with us having issues So we go see a therapist. We spend some time and a few visits talking with the therapist, and the therapist has us making some progress, and as I remember it (been quite some time) was getting ready to have us all in at the same time and get our stuff ironed out, she just needed to talk with my mom some more. Then we don't hear from the therapist, ever. We don't even get a bill from her for all her work, and my mom has seen her around once or twice, never talked to her though.

So what really makes me mad is that I overhear my mother crying to my dad about being afraid that her current therapist is going to abandon her (she has abandonment issues already that the previous therapist just made worse) and all the emotional turmoil about digging up her past and her past problems will be for nothing. Regardless of how good her current therapist is. So yeah, I am really rather angry with her old therapist.

On the flipside, I got checked out by some chick at the transfer station, which amused my dad to no end (we were unloading the truck together) It's nice to be appreciated

The only bad thing about being appreciated is that when I wear a suit, I get very cold calculating looks by women that make me feel like a rack of meat in a butcher's shop and you can tell who all the gay men are :/

Therapy is a long process and yes family members can have a hard time of it too. Of course, you and anyone else living in the house should also be included. You should have a safe place to be able to express your frustration. It also helps the therapist because they are not aware of the dynamics at home and the fallout from the therapy. She may need to see a psychiatrist so she can be put on some medication and knowing the dynamics at home would help with this determination. I wish there were some simple easy way to deal with an issue like this but there isn't. You are understanding that some of her mood swings are from digging up these old memories so that helps.

At some point, she is going to have to work with family members to get them to understand her triggers and things she has issues with. I have an issue with anger and that is related to my fathers insane outbursts. (To give you an idea, he got mad at me once because he saw I had a hickey and shot me in the leg as I was running for my life.) So I had to help my family understand that extreme anger or violent outbursts can trigger panic attacks or other issues so they are aware if something should happen.

hurray i've been missed!

But yea, not so much time juggling between work, FFXI, WoW(so close to 80 DK so close!), fansubs and occassional webcomics to pop in here ; ; Plus things seemed, slower than getting 5/5 Slow II any stage 1 weapon when i stopped popping in.

v.v; Soo miss spending every night up until 6am v.v; Ack, should get to sleep since its 2:30 and i open at work tomorrow D: Last couple of weeks been sucky, normal good days on tips are like most mondays and tuesdays lately D:

Then of course drama friday night over relic on dyna @.@ damn drama llamas should have been weeded out by now
