Netflix released an iphone app last night. Can stream just about everything to your phone. Doubt I'll ever get anything accomplished at work again.

I got my sofa and chair! Was a bit of a struggle getting them up the stairs but it was a good workout and it was so worth it because it's soooooo pretty! Now I just have to finish painting my coffee table (and I have to use my friend's yard because my deck isn't big enough for me to spray paint it without painting the whole damn deck) and my apartment will be complete! Yay!

I can watch tv anywhere on my Droid and stream Netflix on my iPad. I am never bored, though my family does yell at me sometimes when I'm rude and have my nose buried in my phone or iPad. Which brings to mind something I've always wondered. How do you pronounce wanzer? For some reason I always think it's pronounced the german way, vanzer, (well, vahnzer is the way I think of it) but I hear alot of people pronouncing it "wanzer".

On the whole palmetto bug thing, I dunno never having seen a palmetto bug vs cockroach, nor do I want to. My dad who worked in Georgia for about a year says that there is a difference, palmetto bugs are bigger, they fly, and will attack you.

I really dislike shoes.

My shoe size is 10 1/2 EE, and I swear, shoes either don't fit me right and last forever, or fit me right and fall apart within a year. Boots are like the only thing that fits me and are comfortable.


Hmm, now it's getting close to lunch time.... Could hit the Mint for some Macho Nachos, or I could work on my weight a bit more and be good.... Decisions decisions.


Of amusing note, work is progressing quite nicely out back on a little surprise I've got going for mom, she has yet to look outside and notice the big pile of dirt steadily building up :D

Quite some time ago a big windstorm knocked over a pine tree that knocked over our lovely big oak tree, and we have this big mound where the oak tree used to be. Mom wanted to be the one who decided how to fix that area up, but she hasn't as it's too stressful with all of her other stuff going on. So I am stepping in, got most of the mound cleared away and I'm gonna put in a big L shaped planter box that'll kinda outline the old chicken yard, for if we get chickens again. Mowing will be WAY easier without a big mound to weedwhack, it'll look nice, hopefully this goes over well.

Ya I have 3 pair of motorcycle boots. One heavy duty pair (winter/bad weather), one lighter pair (summer/good weather), and one more fashionable pair (around town/summer/good weather - has 1 1/2" heel). The light pair has put in many miles on the road and are rather shabby. The heavy pair are too "manly". But I do wear the more fashionable pair as dress shoes if I'm wearing slacks.

Good luck with that tree removal. I hate seeing beautiful trees ruined by storms, especially an oak. Just wish I had someone handy around my house! lol

And it is a real shame about that oak tree, it was a really nice old one. The pine tree that knocked it over was something we were thinking of taking out too..... The oak probably would have survived the windstorm if it wasn't for that pine, ah well.

I might take some before/after pics for this.

What kind of oak? Because red oaks are awesome, but live oaks are giant pieces of shit.
