You should do it. I mean hell, even I got around to it this weekend and I've been meaning to watch Trigun since the days of dial-up internet. (note: downloading an entire series over dial-up does not work very well).

I've been watching a lot of anime on Hulu Plus. I downgraded my Netflix to only streaming and now I can afford to get Hulu Plus. Between the 2 I'm rocking anime shows like crazy!

Some anime are continuing to air while others are put on hold. Not sure how the criteria works but that's the situation with network scheduling in Japan. No Infinite Stratos and Yumekui Merry for a few weeks. *sob*

Omg watching Gantz, I'm on episode 19 and it is awesome!! It has a bit of stuff in it that I don't usually care to be in an anime because I watch them when the kids are around. So I've just stuck to watching this anime at night before bedtime. I hope the rest of the anime is as good as these 19 episodes!

Finished up Devil May Cry.

The one-off episodes are far better than the overarching storyline which started weakly and ended even more weak. Too much deus ex machina for my liking. Dante can just win anything without it even fully needing to be animated.

But then, I've said it before, haven't I? Dante is a weak character. They try to play him like he's Spike Speigal (Cowboy Bebop) and Alucard (Hellsing) rolled into one, but be never reaches best of those characters. Meanwhile the other characters that could prove more interesting, like Lady, are always relegated to supporting roles. And Trish shows up less than Lady, begging the question why they even bother with her.

To be fair, 12 episodes seldom tells a satisfactory story, but with less than half of these being interesting and really only two episodes delving into any actual history for Dante, I'm amazed they wasted 12 episodes on it.
