Yyg, not everyone is up to the task of leading a party.

I gave it the old college try, but at the end of the day I know when to admit it's just not something I should be doing. That's why I'm ok with flagging up for a while to let someone more competent assemble and run the party. Well, that and fishing.

And yet, people will still turn you down for a party where they might have to do something waiting for that one Abyssea party that will let them leech all the way up. There might be a bunch going on in Abyssea, but there aren't that damn many parties going on there that every idiot that wants to leech is going to get one.

Hell, I've asked a few shouters from time to time who are putting an Abyssea party together if they would want my 69 BLM and they shoot me down with 'no leeches,' and I was actually planning on doing shit.

If I'm building an Abyssea party, I accept anyone 65+. As far as I'm concerned, if you can land a hit for 1 damage... you can join, because you're helping.

I'm a bit of a glutton for punishment. I like building parties, making friends and seeing what combinations work and what ones don't. You're all right, though... not everyone is built to lead a party, but I enjoy it. I guess that's why it's so hard for me to understand why other people don't do the same thing. I just enjoy it...

With twice the xp and unlimited FoVs I doubt I'll bother partying unless it looks like it will be fun.

That's the rout that a lot of people take now. I took my DNC from 1-37 in 3 or 4 days solo. It was fun... and I learned a lot about the job in that time. I wouldn't do it any other way. Soloing crabs in the Dunes for 4hours FTW.

Hell, even back before I quit last time I soloed most jobs to sub level or so. It was the only way to make those jobs 1.) Interesting, 2.) Challenging, 3.) Not an experience that would end in my wanting to stab people in the face through the internet.

Seriously, I developed a new love for a lot of jobs by trying unconventional mobs and solo techniques.

That's the same way I feel. Its like... Hell, I got A LOT wrong with me. Learning disorders and shit, yet I can put together a great party. I have had people compliment me on how great of a party I have put together.
