I agree, try the NW corner for NM who drops bloodbead amulets. Also due to the rain there are water elementals who drop water clusters.

Yep, and theres also Lightning elementals that drop lighting clusters, Guboos (Sp?) that drop tree cutting (50k a stack) and moss (8k a stack) Crawlers silk (10k a stack). Just becare full, you have to remember all mobs aggro when you rest, regaurless of level. I went afk to go get lunch while I rested. When I got back I was dead, went from 40-39 and lost all my equipent. Boy was that a fun hour in Kazham.

Ok. This is ridiculous. 2 weeks ago Sniper Rings were 250k on Asura. A week later they were 290...that's fine...I was ready to buy them...then 1 day later...310k....so I borrow 20k from an LS mate to get them for 310k...BOOM....next day they're 350k.

I can't do this. To go up 50k a week is freaking ridiculous...so I took my 310k and started crafting with it.

RK is better than AF but not that much better...

I'd rather save that money and put towards something else... like haubergeon.

I tested this theory not too long ago when I was debating selling my RK set for a bloodsword. My test looked like this.

Stat difference in equipment:
RK=Accuracy+3, STR+4, and Attack+3
AF=DEX+3 and some amount of HP (i don't feel like looking up how much right now...)

I tested for four hours, switching from one to the other every hour.

Average Accuracy: AF=72.9 RK=72.1
Average Damage: AF=798 RK=905

Conclusion:
The .8% accuracy from AF is easily attributed to the random element associated with accuracy, I don't believe that in most situations DEX+3 is going to provide more accuracy than Accuracy+3. (It is possible that at accuracy+33 I was already as accurate as I could get for that level... I'd need to party with another Elvaan DRK/WAR with a Haubergeon and a Peacock Charm to see if they hit more often.)
The Increased damage from the R.K. set is significant... 107 dmg per battle is about a 15% increase in my damage every fight, mostly attributed to increased weapon skill damage.

Anyway, buy the R.K. Set, and sell it right before you're ready to buy your Haubergeon. Consider 200k in assets toward the purchase, not as something that will help you get there faster by not purchasing it :p More like money in the bank you're less likely to spend on booze.

for sniper rings are going through the roof!. I bought mine at 230K + 340K. I thought that was expensive back then. LOL Took at look at the AH this weekend, and now it's 500K! HOly Mother of God.

Did SE gimp the drop rate of archer ring or something?

I was told this morning Sniper Rings are up to 400k on Fairy. This is up from 350k just a week ago. Got my first one for 250k and the second for 270k. The going rate was 230k when I started saving for the first one, and I wasn't to thrilled about the price hike then. Looking back on it though, I can't really complain can I?

So why the soaring prices? It's just an observation of mine, but more and more people are camping Stroper Chymes. The number of Archer Rings entering the market each day isn't increasing, but there's a whole lot more competition then there used to be. The prices are simply reflecting the added difficulty.

wow and i thought 200k on valefor was alot 2 good 40bcnm sessions got me mine.

I didnt get snipers till well cant remember it was ages ago in real time but maybe only 3lvls ago at 60 or so i first got them and I've tried it out with them on and off and tbh i seem to hit and miss just the same with or without them.

Also i seem to hit more often using my zweihander than i do with the vassago despite the 5+acc.

To me it all seems rather random. I tried in onzo doing tomaras and fought for 1hour using vassago and snipers then another hour with no snipers and it was just the same. Some tomaras i barley missed on and others i could barely hit with or without snipers. So do they really work?

(yes i know we should have a brd cause they're ace for madigral due to high evasion on tormas but there's like 3brds on the whole of valefor none within my lvl range)

also i was wearing full af, bomb core, assualt and spike ears, life belt, amemit mantle and just had empty slots when i removed the snipers.

I'd really like to know others opinions on this thanks.

on Valefor snipers are now 500k, this stuff kinda drives me insane. I bought my first sniper for 400k and then 3 days later when im at 300k prices jack up to 500k. i gota farm so hard because of the boters and the tards buying gill off websites and it blows lol.
