Farmiing for Sniper Ring

RK is better than AF but not that much better...

I'd rather save that money and put towards something else... like haubergeon.

If you dotn have Haubergeon i would suggest:

Royal body,gloves,legs,Af Helm and boots.

If u have Haybergeon and other ACC stuff i would use:

Haubergeon,Royal Legs,AF glvoes(yeah +3dex is good sicne u have enough acc) Helm and Boots.

I just love Sniper Rings since I don't feel gimped as a clas anymore. Used to be I'd miss at least 5 out of 10 swings against an IT mob. Now it's rare for me to miss 2 out of 10. It has also illustrated to me why WAR is an unviable subjob post level 60. It would simply generate WAY too much hate (even without using Berserk) for a PLD (god forbid a NIN) keeping aggro control. I was in a JP party a few days back and they were all cracking up constantly as I kept drawing aggro doing nothing but swing my weapon (No Berserk/lastresort/souleater/anything). We eventually decided the only way for the PLD to keep control of the hate was for me to enter the fight a few swings after everyone else and, if I drew aggro, the second the PLD got it back I would back away and wait for a few swings before rejoiining the fight. Without these measures I'd inevitably have aggro by my third or fourth swing and would keep (or the mob would be massively confused going between me and PLD and messing up THF's yoko/fuidama).

I love these rings.

I love these rings.

This is true. I remember countless times when I was forced to unlock the target and turn around so that I wouldn't attack it. DRK/WAR is incredibly powerful. Too powerful for its own good, it gets people killed. This why i'm forced to start leveling my thief at the moment. It's only level 10.

Isn't that the truth. I have a story where a certain paladin and a certain dark knight friend were camping liches for papers. The dark knight had his already but came along for the ride. In one of the battles with a ka, the dark knight (who has two sniper rings and subs war) used last resort + souleater + berserk, took the hate off the poor paladin, and got hit with a 650 damage dimensional death. Power = death.

1/4 the way there...thank god I don't need any new armor/equip/spells (except for drk) until 40. Leveling 3 jobs at the moment is tough, especially when they're all in the slow jungles of yhoator.

Farming for the rings shouldn't be too bad....if you know where to farm. I love farming as a DRK....spinning scythe....and drain and aspir pretty much means no rest time.

EDIT: Oh, and how, may I ask, did you manage to get +20ACC at level 43 as a DRK? Where'd the extra 8 accuracy come from? (Ryl. Squires mufflers, +2 sniper rings...).
