If anyone has noticed recently the death toll around water in Vana'diel is on the rise due to the newly added mob, Goblin Bounty Hunter (GBH), which is taking exp parties by storm. This new addition to the game has made places like qufim island and Valcrum Dunes even more frustrating than they already were. Everone knows the beaches in Valcrum Dunes. As everyone else knows from time to time you would see a random RMT fishing the beaches for whatever prize comes to this macro set bot. Now since i do not agree with RMT i will say good for you SE for coming up with an IN GAME solution to the RMT problem. But if you have whitnessed or have been apart of the slaughter of qufim island's GBHs they are devistating. Not only are they tough critters but they have a faster than average speed that alllows them to strike quickly and with devistating acuracy. Without a doubt GBH are making the world of Vana'diel change its methods from time to time...SO what does everyone else think. I want to know if your think Goblin Bounty Hunter is a worth wild idea to keep RMT at bay or a bad addition to our world?

Re: Goblin Bounty Hunters? WtH M8
There are other places and other mobs to exp on, go there.
You don't even have to camp on the water if you want to hunt crabs, they are wandering all over the dunes.
If you don't want to fight worms in Qufim make a smaller party and hit up Korroloka for a little while longer if you aren't feeling creative of where you want to party.
I think they are a fine addition, that don't affect legit fishers much, and parties should have an easy time working around these mobs.
You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.
I don't have a big ego, it just has a large mouth.

Re: Goblin Bounty Hunters? WtH M8
I don't like these bounty hunters. I'd like them a lot more if they only aggroed to fishing, rather than sight.
I was power leveling a friend monk of mine, and she was killing worms around the lake. She was fighting a worm, and out of nowhere, a goblin popped right on top of her and killed her, without so much of a grace period.
I think they're a great idea and all, but they should really aggro to fishing, nothing else.

Re: Goblin Bounty Hunters? WtH M8
All those gobs are part of the Elite forces created and trained by GMDave and G. Smithy. So they will kill RMT and players the same.
What else did you expect from them?
Just pray they don't get upgraded Ban Daggers.sigpic

/cheer Goblin Bounty Hunter
It means one more agresive mob but wow does it cut down on the lag from the 30+ fishbotters that used to be in Quflin and more reciently the dunes.
True one could get arround this by leveling up the fishbot, but a fishbot wouldn't be worth the leveling time since they can be caught fairly easily /script run fish ^^
