I made my name up. I spent days thinking about it, too. I originally bought the game for my husband for Christmas, then decided I wanted to play it myself. I got up the courage to ask if I could make a character (because, you know, I didn't want him to think I'd bought the game more for myself than for him - which I hadn't ) and up until that point I was thinking of creative, offbeat names. Mine is original. I do wonder if there is anyone else on any other server with my name.

My husband's original character (which is now one of my mules, since we bought a new computer and game so we could both play and quit fighting over the PC!!!) was a name he made up, as well, I think. His current character is his zodiac sign in Spanish (Tauro).

If you're feeling brave, you could play with the random generator, and you might actually get something you like. I have always had fun making up my own names, but if you can't think of anything you might be surprised what you get.

Your name has to be unique on your server. There can be two Ileets on separate servers.

What's your name? Might be from one of the crappier FF's that nobody recognizes.

My character's name is Lenee. I used to get spammed with tells claiming that X2 sucked, and I had no idea what people were talking about. My character was created about 3 months before that game was released and I had no intention of playing it, so I had no way of knowing.

Most of my online names are sumarian words for demons.

Other names i've had to create on the spot due to "over use" of other names are:

zasantiz
axtrixis
ixchryl

not hard to come up with something "odd" and cool.

I once saw a mithra named Briatharen. Being the geek that I am, I instantly recognized her to be Bria Tharen, Han Solo's former lover.
