todays pet peeve is simple fucking idiots who are know it alls and i wont take adivce, and when you point out i have RDM to 75 and they are lvling RDM in the dunes they're like i came from so and so server and was a lvl 75 RDM over there and played this game 3 years and later in the PT ask what items are for Subjob

People decide to deflate items, where they could have easily have 800g, but nooo selling insect paste for 400g. . Been trying to sell insect paste on my windy mule, prices bounced from 900, 800, 600, now 400. People don't realize they are at fault with the economy system...grrrrr

As with so many posts here, my pet peeve is with people who won't comprimise.

I can't sleep, continue writing on a paper, can't really concentrate, so I figure I'll try to push to lvl 71 (got to lvl 70 drg BTW! ^^)

Not many people at all are seeking, something like 1,400 people online. I get a party, War, Drg, Blu, Pld, Whm, Rdm

Now I should've asked, but I figured the Warrior had a ranged weapon, turned out he didn't since he had a bomb core on him and he didn't want to accidently toss it. No worries I think, I had planned on the Blue Mage to pull with Head Butt, ranged magic attack, fast casting, stuns, fast recovery time so it doesn't leave you standing there for a day and a half like bard songs tend to do.

Blue Mage didn't like the idea of pulling it seems, so much so that he decides to log out in the middle of a fight. He even went so far as to suggest I pull as drg/sam, I might've been ok with Voke pulling as drg/war, but not jump pulling as drg/sam.

Is it really so far out there to suggest a blue mage pull? He was japanese, well, half the players were, and I couldn't understand much of what they were saying but he seemed to be frowning on the fact our pld tank was lvl 68 and the highest person in the party was 72, we were fighting imps in the mire. Yet he ignores the fact that the paladin will level in under 5,000 exp which we rip through in like the first 30 minutes once we get going.

Sure, not the most ideal of parties, but all things considered it worked damn good, the people were a pleasure to party with, except for the blue mage, and yeah now I'm mad because I'm falling on my face because NOW I'm sleepy, I could've made the last 17,000 I needed for lvl 71 in another two hours in that party.

That's another pet peeve, sleep interefering with a good party.....

My biggest pet peeve is

Randomly invites without being spoken to beforehand and then to top it off, After declining the offer recieving a /tell saying a bst should be grateful to be invited to a party.

Erm can you solo the mobs I'm killing right now?????

My pet peeve is trying to sell food in lower jeuno (now moving to a different location) I was shouting that I was selling apple pies for 200g and grape juices for 600g, some guy shouted "I got mine for 500!" ; ; then in my text he was making grape juices. =/

Then some tarutaru sends me a tell that he was gonna buy some juice. So he doesn't go to my bazaar to buy it. He asks me sorts of question, what they both do, and how much they usually go for. Then he went to trade me. I didnt know what was happening.

Me> Why are you trading me? I dont understand.

Me> Sorry, I'm not giving them for free.

He wanted lots of juice to have lots of refresh. O.O and I could tell he was RDM, /anon and no LS, i wondered he was a RMT. O.O

I hate BLUs.

Well, not all of them. Just the 90% (of all I've partied with) who don't know how to manage their MP; and then spend 3 out of 5 fights resting.

He should of told me so, when I told him I'm not handing it for free. He should of said that right there and he was hovering over mine for five minutes hoping to get lots of juice.

You should have told him how much gil to put in the trade box before you'd hand over the juice. It sounds like both of you weren't being clear.

I hate a-holes..... This Taru NIN/WAR joined our PT in the dunes (yeah in hell), and on our way to the camp site, our WHM and our MNK, both got agro by goblins and we had to run to Selbina. The whole time we where zoneing, the Taru would not shut up about how bad our PT was and noob this and noob that, it was really starting to piss me off. I finaly told him to shut up and stop bitching, so he disbanded. I would have left it at that and waited for the rest of the PT to recover, and to find a raise, but then the Taru started to tell met that I needed to shut my mouth and then started criticizing my job class.

"lolPUP level something useful like DRK PUP is useless" was about what he said -.-

Like I said, I hate a-holes

....what I found funny was I already have DRK at 37 along with every other job classes but COR and PUP, so I had to laugh when he said that.

People who expect you to make sacrifices in game that make the game NOT FUN for you. Thus, I told my husband off >.>;

He wanted me to xp with him, he is trying to get 75 tonight. Still partying, actually. We started out with me RDM/WHM so I could main heal (YUCK YUCK YUCK YUCK) but I figured until someone left and we could get a WHM, fine. I'll do it. So we get the mire (YUCK again) and we're doing fine, someone needs to leave, he gets a WHM, I rejoice.

Not long after, the WHM needs to leave (orz) and we jump to a new area. (Thickets, which, by the way, is filled to the hilt with merit parties and way too crowded to support us, too, but that's what you get when you don't search an area before going there.) I tell him to please find a WHM, but he gets another DD and says, "We'll be fine." So I bitched him out. I told him that I hate main healing, and I don't mind it from time to time, but he wanted me to Refresh X5 and main heal, and then BITCH about not getting Haste. I found a replacement RDM who didn't mind main healing and I left the party, telling him that I wasn't even having fun.

Something he doesn't understand is that I can't just XP and XP and XP and XP and XP and XP and XP and XP (get the point?) until I'm blue in the face, I like to do other things in my game. Constant grinding - especially as main healer - is boring to me, and it's not fun after a while. He didn't seem to understand that, and if he had gotten another WHM it would have been fine for me to stay and be RED mage, but he was being pigheaded so I bailed on him.

Why is it that people say, "Oh, you'll be fine, COME ON!!!!" when you've made it clear that a certain playstyle is not your style. From time to time, like I said, I don't mind main heal. And it's probably not bad in a TP burn with no MP users except myself. But in the party like we had tonight, it was boring, I was sucking, MP was not plentiful and I just wasn't having fun. Why can't people just understand that when you're not having fun, it's time to call it quits? What's with the pressure to perform how "Mr. Leader" wants you to?

I'm just aggravated. I didn't want to xp on RDM tonight anyway and got suckered in, but getting suckered into main healing on top of that was even more of a pain in the ass. Time for me to find something else - something FUN - to do in game, instead of CONSTANTLY LEVELING!!!

Whenever I find there is another RDM out there against main healing(especially in ridiculous situations), I'm reminded I'm not alone, and that almost-extinguished light of hope within me burns just a little brighter.
