Update: Xbox version is 100% patched as of 10:41am EST but I'm still locked out from playing >.<

Hey guys. I just wanted to post on this topic, cause I'm gonna be keepin an eye on it too. I managed to get the xbox 360 version at noon yesterday, and it just sucked so much when I realized I couldn't even play on my existing character on it. I mean, no where on the official site does it say that 360 users wouldn't be able to play either. I just thought all that crap applied to aht urhgan. I wish we had some sort of idea of when we'll be able to finally log in using 360, but seems they're being hush hush.

Where has this idea come about that it might be around noon?

Japan switched to midnight (the 20th) in 20 minutes.... So I'm only assuming...

Because that's when Aht Urhgan content goes live.

Says where? Yes, we know it goes live the 20th in japan, but no place says EXACTLY at midnight. They could be waiting til japan gets a good night sleep, and when most stores open. Meaning, it could be at like 9am-10am in japan when they'll activate it. Which won't be for another 10 hours.

Edit: Ugh, just noticed on the website, not to mention there's another friggin 2 hour maintaince coming up between 10am-noon pacific time. Fixing issues, doesnt mention anything about aht urhgan or 360 going live after though.

Let's see... to get home, instal the expansion, any updates, have dinner, watch some Battlestar Gallactica... I'm hoping it goes live sometime around 9pm Although, I could skip the BSG if it goes at 8...


(Not that I'll get to experience a whole lot of the new content... I'm looking forward to having some new players that I can level up with)

Well, still nothing. So I decided that I couldn't justify taking the day off from class and work to sit and stare at a loading screen...

The NA FFXI site said "the evening of the 19th" so I'm assuming now it'll go live sometime around 8am-10am JPN time (7pm-9pm EST) which would give both countries pretty nice playing time.

My friend is still at his house waiting for login, so if I hear anything I'll post back.

I wish I could say I was surprised that the JPN were being given preferential treatment again... They get the entire day, americans get realistically 4 hours assuming you have any responsibilities in your life besides this game.

Heads up guys. Gamestop in USA did a sameday delivery on FFXI so I got it earlier today. Rushed home from work to install and play it. Took an hour or so to install and when I try to log in it says "not active until April 19th"

Thought you guys would want to know before you get all excited like I did...
