Gil selling doesn't kill the game's economy.

How they are making gil is. Archer Rings(along with Sniper Rings), Peacock Charm, and some other items all are nearly twice the price they were before. That is killing the economy.

and yes buying/selling gil fucks everyone over because
1)the people camping chyme are using bots...meaning people trying to get the ring are fucked over from not getting it and so the price raises...the diffrence between some random joe and a seller is the seller had a PT of 6 and stay there untill each one of them get the ring...the random person leaves after they get the ring...giving you a higher chance of getting one also...

2) just doesnt leave any NMs for us...

anyone who makes a job out of IGE should be shot...no matter where they work in ige...be EQ FFXI the sims(yes...they are selling shit to the sims online...) and so on...should be shot..."but its only a game" yeah no fuck its only a game...a game i pay 13 bucks a month for...to have our econmy fucked and make it next to impossible to get money in this game...

saying they do little to the econmy is like saying bush can understand big words...

No it's not. The price on a few items (kote, archer's ring, tree cuttings, and on my server harvestable goods) are not going to ruin the economy. As Ungerpurr pointed out, it was and always has been the rampant fishbotting that is the primary source of inflation. So is anyone else who farms crap to vendor, which is one pair of whm and drg to my knowledge. And if you do the math, they aren't bringing in all that much raw money into the economy. They would be hard pressed to bring in more than 9k an hour off of giants. But the vendor farmers are so small in number (profits are consistant, but tend to be small) that they aren't a big deal.

Sorry, gil selling isn't ruining the economy. I will freely admit that it's fubarred the prices on some of the more popular items though.
