The people, who you're attempting to irritate to the best of your ability are doing a job. Judging by the attitude displayed by the majority here, you come off as a bunch of children who don't understand what it is to make a living. The person on the other end might be working so that they can go another day with food, they're just doing a job..

The principal of ige is wrong, but what you're doing is incredibly childish, and is doing nothing to remedy the situation. Blame squenix for not sorting the problem, blame the CEO or whatever of ige.. but leave the person who is just there to earn a living alone.

I remember some screenshots of a guy talking with a gil farmer.. they basically said that it was a job, a living, and that they'd love to be in the position that nearly all of us will be in.. ie. playing the game for fun, not for a living.

The gillsellers on my server have gotten really bad, they camp chymes to hell, own Delkfutt's tower, camp amemet to hell (They are also well know Mpkers). They also started to camp Serket, and some of em even have Sky Access, which worries me the most. Just Imagine gillsellers camping all the pop NMs 24/7 mpking you everytime your there and undercutting all god drops;x

"Illegal", eh? Last time I checked, Square Enix was not considered a legal authority in real life, and violating the Terms of Service in Final Fantasy XI can't put you in jail or impose fines on you. All Square Enix can do is ban their accounts - it's not like they're oblivious to the fact that buying and selling gil happens, but so far, they've done nothing. Go whine to GMs about that.

wow I cant belive there are so many heartless, childish, ingnorent people posting.....I am sorry but some of these people do this so they can live, yes it is wrong but that does not mean you can harass them all you want, witch is also breaking the user agreement as well. I agree it should be stopped, but I also say that it can not be stopped easley. Nothing that any of you have done on this forum to "stop" the IGE gil sellers will have no effect at all.

The gillsellers almost control the prices of certain items(Ie Doll shards, Mer viles, Archer rings, etc).(There Bots also have gotten 5-6 Peacock charms in the past 2 weeks). And do affect the economy when archer rings keep going for 550k;x not even Snipers, although crafter have now put them at same price hoping that they can still make a Profit off +1. I remeber when this Problem was exclusive only in Delkfutt's Tower people keep saying it isn't a probelm and should be ignored. Now its getting to the point of them camping HNM's and Possible even Sky Gods. And people keep saying its not a probelm. The more people ignore this problem, the bigger its going get, no matter how much you want to deny it.

Neptune...this does effect us...it effects us a hole fucking lot...sure its just a game and all...but you can go anywhere in this game if every farm spot/nm is camped by some ass whore selling gil making it impossible to get the mobs cuz most of the NM camping ones have 3-6 monks and a bot going on to chi blast the nm every time it pops...

either way...there are more then one way to make money in this world...any one who looks to ffxi for a way to make a living...really does need to be shot...its like being a whore "cuz yo baby daddy left joo!!" yeah...see that thing over there...its called mcdonalds...they are always looking for people and there is no side effect of aids...

No Final Fantasy XI player with a brain will say that IGE doesn't affect the economy, and I certainly don't approve of how they operate - the point I'm trying to make, is how will all this whining and harassment of clueless customer service workers improve anything? The only ones who can do anything about them is Square Enix, so I just don't get why so many people are wasting time and energy with petitions, forum threads and childish things like abusing IGE customer service chat lines. That kind of behaviour is pathetic, and the way people obsess over the state of a virtual economy isn't healthy.

I'm well aware of how addictive and engrossing FFXI can be, but it's an undeniable fact that when the servers eventually shut down for good, things like your rank, your levels, your equipment and all the gil in the world won't mean anything at all. Besides, it's not like making money is anywhere near impossible because of them, you just have to work your way around the problem until the ones in charge decide to take action or not.

i dont understand how some of u people can defend these people when there destroying the game.Probably the people that are against this must have sold or bought gil from thses @$$holes before.My gil came from camping nm's now im flat broke.yea there are other ways to make gil but its not easy getting a pt to do bcnm's that u cant trust people to do. u need gil to lvl a craft even harvest or mine. there are alot of people that like this game so much and by any means will do what ever it takes to protect it. this is the same way they took out the empire whats it call Kindare something like that. im sure a few people remember that.

Ive said it before, and ill say it again.

The Problem is NOT the Gillsellers NOR the company that plays the medium (IGE). The problem is the people who buy gill, remove them and you remove the problem, removing any other part and it will come back instantly.

Because there are people that will pay money for gil, then there will always be people who exsist to make a profit on their idociy.

I don't think it's the buyers as much as IGE's open ways of buying gil. We already have every NM bot camped, every farming spot filled 24/7, and there's least 30 more people up and coming to follow in their place (it's obvious they are gil sellers by name/no sj 40+ and always pted with one another) I can't even farm or camp NM's anymore cause there's 5 people there bot camping/ farming 24/7 to sell their gil online...if IGE didn't buy gil so easily it wouldn't be an issue
