I'm sorry I don't see how your comparing EQ with FFXI in terms of gear. If my memory is still intact, EQ had end game items that granted 200+ HP or 200+ MP or even 25-50+ to various stats. THey also have proccing weapons that grant even more to stats like I think it's call "Avatar", I think don't quote. In FFXI......I don't think I've seen 1 piece of armor that gives +100 to HP or +25 to stats. Also in EQ I think the damage was higher. What I mean is a RNG can hit for 600 a hit, I don't think that happens in FFXI. A ranger with trueshot hits for 2k, I don't think that happens in FFXI. (Yeah, I'm glad your seeing I'm using RNG for a my main focus cause that's the character I've played in EQ). The delay between swings in EQ is different then FFXI. No offense, but the storyline in EQ (if you can even call it that) was crap compared to FFXI. What I'm trying to say is how can you compare two games that has so many differeces?
In general, if someone is unhappy with playing a game then why play at all? Seriously, if you hate someone are you going to keep talking to them? If your time to play has dwindled so much and your real life calls for you, then why play? Real life is more important and you said it yourself. Is it an addiction?
If you don't like what CoP has to offer ( considering were only getting a taste of it atm, I doubt anyone has explored 100% of CoP fully), then don't buy it. A few of my friends are holding back until they know for certain what it has to offer. For now, I'm content with the storyline and all that stuff that you classify as "Boring".
BTW, what is co-sign mean?
