He also switched careers to a job where he can't spend all his downtime on the computer building up campaign plans, so I'm sure that factored into it too.

I was actually just talking with Yyg about this and he said that if he ever could make the time again he'd like to be a player... I was thinking Fire would be an awesome DM!

Honestly, $15 is plenty for now. That's 3 months of floating. I'll take care of the 4th month after this is all gone and we'll take it from there. My paypal history tells me who paid and by how much... and we'll hit up whoever is slacking at that time. Don't sweat it Jarre.

I'll re-sub right now and get it taken care of so that we have the reactive lighting features and extra storage space again.

There's even a tier above the one I subscribe to... but the only noticeable benefit is storage space for images and tokens. If I saved all of our past adventures for reference, that might be fun to use... but as it is... I delete maps after every session to free up what little space we have.

There's differant rules i nthe EU which is why charges are lower for me.

But Armando summed it up well really. PayPal in layman's terms is a way of linking your bank account to the e-mail address of your choice. Basically if I type in Yyg's email address I can send him whatever amount of cash I feel like, in whatever currency I feel like.

If I wanted to be a dick, I could have sent Yyg $5 worth of Yen if I wanted to.

Sending $10 cost me 50+ cents. Paypal is weird.

I just looked it up and the fee for me to convert GBP to USD using a Debit Card was 5 cents, which is just Three British Pennies in FireandJarre Language.

You tell PayPal Yyg's e-mail and they suck money out of your bank account/credit card.

I don't remember the fee being much when I sent $5 a couple of months back.

The postage is probably cheaper than the fee Paypal adds.
