That's not entirely correct, according to what I heard. What happens when you go to upload a video now it's occasionally subjected to their automated review system. The more times you pass, the less often you're flagged for it and content just goes up right away no problems. As far as LPs go, some companies are just assholes I guess - Ubisoft is not. They put out a very clear statement and laid everything out in black & white terms. They WANT LPers and all this community stuff, they just want us to abide by their conditions when doing so (all of which are reasonable. I don't have the list on me but it'd be nice if more companies would follow Ubisoft's example and that's saying something! o.O )
As for all the mass flagging/take downs of videos lately? Yeah, that's just garbage for the most part. There are legit videos using unauthorized/pirated content but they're casting a wide net and catching everyone else along with the troublemakers - but then what else is new? :/
