I like how they imply that Sheik/Zelda would actually bother to beat up monsters instead of leaving that to you.

Well, she was in hiding for like seven years and hanging with Impa before being nabbed that time out, I imagine they must have fought off some monsters. Otherwise she spent that time learning five songs you use maybe once or twice unless you really want to scour all of Hyrule for Pieces of Heart.

Don't mind me. I just think it'd be really cool if some of these NPCs actually joined you in dungeons. Kind of like Windwaker but with more asskicking involved.

Seems to me that Zelda would be safest hanging with Link anyhow.

Yeah, but Link got the Triforce of Courage, bravery instead of brains. If they traded up and he had Wisdom, she'd never get kidnapped. I don't know why wisdom hasn't done shit for Zelda yet.

Maybe she'll get an active role in Skyward Sword - I just don't see Ganondorf making an appearance for that one. I don't think he's even born yet this time.

              ESRB reveals Zelda Universe- Destructoid

We're getting closer to fnding out what the mystery project is.

While its true "Zelda Universe" is the name of the official Zelda website, this could be something else entirely or related to that. Just one week til we find out what this is really about.

Re: Hey! Listen! Zelda turns 25!

If its online and you could be one of the various races and play it like Four Swords, I'd be down for that. There are so many races they could use (Goron, Zora, Kokiri, Gerudo, Hylian, Skull Kid/Stalfos), though I guess the Wind Waker timeline would have to be excluded since Zoras evolved to bird people and the Kokiri into those forest seed-looking things. Gorons survived somehow.

This is Miyamoto's project, though, given Aonuma was overseeing OOT3D and Skyward Sword. Dunno if it would be online.

I'd love to play as a Goron or Zora again, though, those were fun to play as in Majora's Mask.

Edit: Seems this could just be a renewal of the rating for the website, D-Toid is looking into it further.

Still there is a mystery Zelda title in the works, Iwata said as much at GDC.

Yeah unfortunately confirmed it's just a rating for their website. Even if it was a game, I fail to see how an online Zelda would work, considering there can only be ONE LINK.

Edit: I know, Four Swords has four links, but I doubt they'd do a massively online game in that vein (thousands of Links....?).

There's no reason it has to be *massively* online. Left 4 Dead 2 is still alive and kicking.

I think that a multi-player oriented 3D Zelda would be awesome.

EDIT: Plus like BBQ said Hyrule does have a fair number of races to choose from. Even the Hylians have some diversity between the likes of the Royal Guard, the Gerudo and the Sheikah.

Re: Hey! Listen! Zelda turns 25!

Well, I was wandering around tonight and went to Wal-Mart.

They broke street date on OOT3D so I'm gonna tell my GS about that so I can see if I can get mine tomorrow >.> I know we have it in already. We got tons of copies.

                          Also, have a commercial:

                          YouTube - ‪The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D (3DS) - Commercial‬‏

Those things aside E3 revealed the following:

                          - Zelda HD tech demo.
                          - Link's Awakening DX on eShop
                          - Four Swords coming to DSiWare (the version from LTTP GBA)
                          - Skyward Sword has some manner of world-altering mechanic, the overworld is getting more emphasis akin to LTTP and Majora's Mask
                          - Two orchestral CDs to be released this year, one packed in with Skyward Sword.

And apparently that's not all, they have more to talk about as the year goes forward.

Apparently they're just going to totally ignore that Metroid turns 25 this year, too.

They're Japanese, of course they don't give a shit about Metroid.

Honestly, I have no idea why Metroid isn't being handled by NOA at this point. Clearly the series would be more profitable if they let NA turn it into a Halo competitor instead of keeping it as a relatively minor adventure game for their home market. Hell, if nothing else, just bringing FPS into the Nintendo sphere would do a lot to fuck with Sony/MS.
