OMG... an online 4 swords would be EPIC!! I never finished it back in the day due to lack of people to play it with.

Yeah, I'm hoping that's what Miyamoto's working on.

3DS or Wii, I don't care. Just gimme Four Swords online.

I'm doing a Zelda Marathon right now and aim to include FSA just because. Well, as soon as I can procure a copy more locally. Closest store that has it is 20 miles away and, well, gas prices, yo. Maybe I can yammer at my boss at the Gamestop a mile away to get on in our store >.>

That aside a 16:9 Wind Waker + Four Swords would also be lovely. They really wouldn't even need to touch up anything else in Wind Waker, it still looks that damn good.

F*ck yeah: Master Quest confirmed for Ocarina of Time 3D- Destructoid

Just for those that don't know, OOT Master Quest is basically more challenging version of OOT with remixed dungeons. While the story is essentially the same, some of the stuff in the remixed dungeons is a bit more surreal and strange.

Anyway, its in the OOT 3D remake as well, so yeah, Cow heads sticking out of Lord Jabu-Jabu's insides in 3D. The stuff of nightmares.

200k hits in 4 days, not bad. And imo, song was fun, but I more enjoyed the part afterwords.

Zelda: Skyward Sword theme played backwards = OMG- Destructoid

No, it doesn't tell you to worship Ganondorf.

Saw that about an hour ago. Mind = blown.

It's not the first time Nintendo trolls us through music though.

Yeah I just saw that. Was watching the normal trailer and like, "O.k. this isn't anything cool." Then it was played backwards and bricks were shat.

Came across this on Youtube today when boucning between SSFIV tutorials and video game music stuff. The Wind Waker theme is easily one of my favorite themes in the Zelda series:

This one was OK, but the last part is stretching the Garudo Valley theme a bit too far:

Re: Hey! Listen! Zelda turns 25!

I've had WindWaker Unplugged in the playlist I listen to when I drive for like 2 years, I never get tired of it. Fredde also made an awesome Mega Man 9 rock medley.
This one was OK, but the last part is stretching the Garudo Valley theme a bit too far:

YouTube - Zelda Meets Today's Music
Actually I think I liked the last one best - Gerudo Valley's theme is great no matter what, I feel it wasn't meant to be slowed down.

I found these recently and I was pleasantly surprised.

My favorites are the Great Fairy's theme and Aryll's theme.

Re: Hey! Listen! Zelda turns 25!

I just looked up some of the timeline theory videos and the follow-up video to Ocarinahero's Split Timeline theory is particularly hilarious because he nerdrages so hard over Nintendo's response to his letter and makes a plea for Nintendo to address and validate a true timeline for the series.

His original video made some interesting points, though I always did assume Twilight Princess followed Majora's Mask because the world wasn't flooded and Ganondorf was alive and still doing evil. He points out it's a sequel because the undead guy that mentors Link in various sword techniques has the Glided Sword and Mirror Shield from Majora's Mask, which would imply he was the Link from OOT and Majora.

But then the guy goes a bit nuts and says Link's Awakening follows Phantom Hourglass, which is destroyed by Spirit Tracks. I alway thought Link's Awakening was direct to LTTP, since that's what the manual went with at the time.

At any rate, its not like Nintendo had a plan for a timeline or could even construct one that made perfect since regardless of whether it was a single timeline or a split one. That's why its easy to fallback on them all just being legends, which just play into my multiverse theory about a lot of game franchises. There might sometimes be connections, sometimes there just aren't any.

And really, releasing a canon timeline just takes the fun out of anything now. And there would be fans that reject anyway, so there's not really a point

Started up LTTP and forgot how short the dungeons were in this, at least the first three. Getting my master sword pretty fast.

Nintendo put out some promotional art for OOT3D, very little of its actually new which I guess makes sense as OOT3D just wants to get closer to the original art concepts. The new stuff is nice enough, though:

This was released with them, I'm told this appeared in the strategy guide for the game, but this is without the text overlays.
