Re: Nomura confirms first sign of FFXIII-2 hurray!!! ^_^
Marvel 3 is so far looking not awesome. I hope it evolves into a good game because right now, everyone has the same combo (ground jank -> launcher -> air jank -> OTG -> relaunch -> SUPER!!!!!). I really hope there is more depth to the combo system than that.
Also, rofl MODOK.
I think my team is gonig to be... Dante/Rad/xxx. Haven't decided on a third yet.
Burning questions are burning: Is jenova_9 really a girl and is she cute? Does she talk like that in real life?
Until they add Mega Man, I could care less about Smash for a while, especially with MvC 3 on the horizon.
Mega Man isn't in MvC3, either.
You just want Mega Man because he has a smaller hit box anyway. Roll in TvC was even worse.
I don't even know what my team for MvC 3 will be yet. In MvC2 it was Guile, Charlie and Wolverine. in Street Fighter Vs. X-Men my team was Chun Li and Gambit or Ken and Rogue. The roster for MvC doesn't have most of my usual people.
Zero. Chun Lu and Wolvie might make a good team. Dante and Deadpool could work, so its just a matter of finding a compatible third member.
I want to see how Amaterasu works out, though, she's rather unique within the roster and I'm curious to she what role she could play for a team.

I don't think they're doing it to make Capcom stop using it, she's a Shinto deity. She's also a "demon" in SMT: Nocturne and Yukiko Amagi's Persona in Persona 4. And she's my one of my personal favorite summons in Devil Survivor for her Divine Dance move.
Nintendo might have a game called Amaterasu or it might never come to be. Just a patent. Might suggest a new IP, which people always say they want from Nintendo but totally ignore it when it doesn't have Mario or Link in it.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing Amaterasu in action, but I'm not fond of much of the rest of the MvC3 roster aside from Dante and Deadpool.
The roster pull to many characters from certain games on the Capcom side this time out whereas I would have kept a few more proven characters rather than wasting three slots on Resident Evil characters, one on Trish (Lady's cooler) and such. I actually think TvC struck a better balance in Capcom variety. They even pulled a character from way back that was from a Japan-only Capcom release.
And it had Frank West who has more or less has taken over MvC2 Jill Valentine's moveset, with Dead Rising flavoring, of course.
MvC3 still has a big roster, though, and there's still a more characters to be revealed.
Dunno why people want Phoenix Wright in there so bad, though, particularly now that he's got that game with Professor Layton. That game will likely be popular in Japan and we'll see a few more team-ups with both characters since both Ace Attorney and the Professor do well here (except in Europe where people just seem to pirate it).
They're just not guys for fisticuffs, I mean, both father and daughter Von Karma could get the better of Pheonix and the Professor, brilliant man that he is, is often easily duped at first.
Now put Franziska Von Karma in MvC3 and you might have something
I mean, she gets to run around with that whip for no good reason and strike people with it, she clearly has some aggression to work out - she just takes it out on the wrong people and chose the wrong profession for it.
Phoenix and Miles just slam on desks and point at people.

No, I think they're doing it because they're batshit insane. And if the Japanese Trademark Office let them, they're even more insane.
Roll played nothing like Mega Man though (and had unconventional dashes.)
And heal herself, which is kinda lame in a fighting game.

I'm pretty certain bbq doesn't know squat about fighting games.
I'm not Evo-worthy, but I've been at fighters since SFII and I've had those I devoted myself to playing. What I don't devote myself to is studying animations frame-by-frame and abusing/exploiting top-tier characters.
I'm not among the best, but I can give lots of other people a hard time. You're probably one of those people.
I can also tell you an arcade tested fighters and fighters that start out online are like the difference between analog and digital photography. On one side we have a price for screwing up that teaches you to anticipate and on the other we have the ability to fail repeatedly without consequence.
Who do you think learns how to take better pictures? Who do you think learns to fight more efficiently?
Hint: Its not the latter, its the former. I'm not saying a digital photographer or an online player can't become better, but its going to require more time to realize you're not just automatically awesome.
