I'm happy ... the buddy that got me hooked to MH-Unite on PSP who sold his PSP and everyhting to concentrate on school has purchased a PSPgo and we can now continue the climb up the ranks. He'd sold his save card too (/facepalm-sauce) so he had to get a save from someone he knew and turned her into a chick. I now wish I'd made a female toon cuz their armors are so much ... better. Now we just need to get him caught up again.

Finally got it, talked with a guy at another GS and he got me a special order of it from another store and two Wii points cards were thrown in for my inconvenience

Gonna get into it more during the weekend. Already finished the tutorial stuff.

Ok...Burroth offline....I can't beat him...WTF am I doing wrong!? And yes I tried to google the answer first but only found people saying how easy he was! >< I used switch axe and bow gun so far.

he is what you would call a "hard shell" Monster, those type have to be hit with a hammer, or green/blue and up sharpness weapons. anything else will just bounce off. Oh and if all else fails, aim for the legs ;p

Personally I love using the sword and shield, you can get a ton of hits in and you're relatively hard to hit since you move faster. I had problems killing a Lundroth with a switch-axe and great sword, so I switched to SnS and it was a cakewalk.

No we have it running in 480p and you can read the text but you have to really concentrate/squint. I sit 9 feet from my tv. The minimum recommended distance for a 52" tv running in 720 is 10 feet so I'm at the proper distance too.

??? really? I have horrible eyes and I don't need to squint to see it *shrugs* running in 480p WS on a 52in myself.

you sure your running it in 480p and not 480i? it really makes a difference on the Wii

I do have one complaint. The text. I have a 52" LCD HDTV and put the game on 16:9 mode and I have to squint to see the text at times. I thought it was me so I got people with perfect eyesight to read it and they had to squint too.

Makes me wanna re-buy a Wii... I sold mine before MH was ever a glimmer in the gamerz eyes. Ah well.. I have enough to wait for the NA 360 version ... which people can deny will happen... but my faith in Capcom and M$'s greed makes it very possible in my mind.

its really going to ride on how MH3 does first, so far its doing ok.

Ya wish I had another snazzy controller to play co-op but then again my son is not that much fun in co-op. He yells at me all the time! ><

I HATE demos sometimes. Most of them hurt the damn game because they do a shitty job of representing the game in the damn demo!

yeah the demo does not give the game justice.
