YATTA, funcoland called me yesterday at work to tell me that my preorder came in and i had 48 hours -.- to pick it up. Needless to say i was at the mall as soon as i got home from work. I tell you it was a mentally tiring experince since the mall was packed full of people and i tell you about 1/3rd of them wanted or has kids that want an X360. Even inside funcoland the store employees had a stratedgy (not going to disclose what they do) to try and dispel any attempt would be muggers/robbers of those who came and picked it up (keeping it mind it was around night time.) Even i myself didnt make it obvious i was there to pick on up. I entered the store and just browsed around and even played the X360 kiosk for a little bit. I finally made my way to the counter (after an period of time which im not going to say ) and simply said "im here for a pick up" and handed him my reciepts of all the payments i made. Look ing at me like i was crazy i told him that you all did call me earlier today so he went and confirmed that with his manager. After that (not going to disclose the process of the pickup for those who havent picked it up yet) i was on my way.

When i got to the store i counted about 4 shady looking people who seemed to be just hanging around waiting for someone to pick up their X360, so by default i waited till they left before i even did anything. My advice to those who havent picked it up yet, bring a friend or friends, the more the better. If friend/s are not available (which was my case at the time) talk on your cell phone with one of your friends (use a ear peice to keep your hands free.) Let them know what your doing ahead of time (your trusted friends mind you) and talk with them while your leaving the store and going to your transportation. This makes it easier to alert someone if something happens. Make sure to at least tell someone (trusted friend or family) when your leaving the store so they know when to expect you at your residence or destination. Also, if your by yourself, stop by a few other stores first and buy something so it looks like your just doing a little shopping when you go to the game store. I've heard a story were some lady was held up at gun point AT HER HOUSE for an xbox360. She had went out to by the system and when she got home the guy was waiting for her. Be weary of who you tell and dont go brandishing it to the whole world either.

Just as a side note, the system that i had picked up wasnt mine but my bosses since their son was looking for one and they happened to be the first person i noticed that needed one so i sold it them since i already had one.
