Bestbuy is facing heavy scrutiny for this.

In many stores, they even advertised the normal packages with normal pricing. It was not until the hundreds of people waiting in line entered the store when it opened that the stores revealed they were only selling bundles for upwards of 600 dollars.

Ya those are all bundles. They can do that but there will be backlash for sure. Don't worry if you pre-ordered a system then you will be paying that price. Thats a contract and they can't change it on you. BUT they may make you wait longer since they would rather sell bundles.

I do have a question concerning my reserved xbox though. Its a contract gauranteeing me a premium 360 at $399 right? Question is, is the contract with M$ through Gamestop, or is it a contract with Gamestop? Its been proposed as a possiblity that microsoft will stop making the premiums after the holidays in order to make more money off people buying things seperately. Hypothetically if I didnt get mine before microsoft stops making the premiums, what will Gamestop do? Give me a core + all the extras the premium came with for $399 or what?

And DoA's release is so shady. EB had it as the 22nd initially yeah ok we knew about that delay. Then it was set back to 14th. You say 15th. GameStop's site as of today set it to the 22nd. It was pushed to the 29th in Japan. Tecmo announced Japan's delay but when questioned about EN release, they replied with no comment at this time. =QQQ

Everytime I've called I get some guy on the phone who takes 5 minutes to come back and say he has no clue. The first time I called (before the initial release) he said I would be towards the back of the 2nd shipment. Ofcourse, when they don't say how many is in a shipment, nor what number from the back, it really leaves me with no clue as to what's going on. From the memo Nodachi posted, its sounds like this could be a rather large shipment (comparable to the initial release), so I may be getting one here in a week. I'm off work tomorrow, so I'll try and call tomorrow and see whats up and hopefully get an actual number. I'd go in and talk to them, but the store is in the mall, and seeing how its the only real mall here (supposedly the largest one story mall in Texas) its jam packed all December and I'd rather shoot myself than go there this time of year.

I had went to funcoland yesterday and the guy told me sometime next week. More or less their getting there stuff in the same time frame as the other big retailers like bestbuy. All i need is a date, give me a date and i wont care as much. I'd hate to lose out on the 2nd shipment (even though i have it preorderd + fully paid including tax,) becuase i wasnt informed of when it was coming out next week. And i hope that NA DOA4 is not delayed from next week. Aside from that i have no other xbox360 games i wanna get. I already have a good racer and fps. I heard call of duty 2 was good but only 8 people online during a match dosent intrest me all that much, unless im wrong. Other than that, the next game im waiting for is (em)enchant-ARM which is the rpg that was delayed until 1Q next year T_T

BAH! Thats aggravating Caspian! I would be pulling my hair out.....well at least the grey ones! LOL Good luck I hope you do get one this week. Its nerve wracking waiting and wondering! As for the mall this time of year......OH HELL NO!! Don't blame you one bit! If I don't have all my gifts bought by Dec. 1, then I hit the internet and buy the rest!

TBoTB, Call of Duty 2 is AWESOME!! I personally love it but its a fight between me and my son on who gets to play it. If I'm on when he gets home from work, he rips off his jacket, plunks down, and says "Hand it over or someone will get hurt!!" LOL

It's not the 8 person only that bothers me about CoD2 online, it's what i read about reports of lag and stuff. 8 People is actually more fun than 32 -usually-. Matches are more skill based and a whole lot less random. But that said of course it's always fun to enter a massive match and just go crazy lol.
