Anyhow back to what i was saying. You say it isnt fair to judge a game before ive touched it or read a preview. But i clearly remmember saying my oppinion right now is based on what we have heard from square on this game already. Its kind of like a disclaimer my oppinions may change but for now the game looks like a linear piece of garbage. That is only my oppinion and iam entitled to it. Square is a great RPG maker but i cant help but feel they are just trying to suck this franchise dry.

If you cant see the quality deminishing in the games they are making then you are quite blind....Final Fantasy Origins? Final Fantasy X-2? Final Fantasy Tactics Advance? all three of these titles werent excelent Although origins is an Anthology type game it still wasnt worth re-releasing. I loved the Ending to Final Fantasy X it was the only ending in any video game that brought a tear to my eyes.

But as ive said before this is my oppinion and hopefully and yes iam hopeing that square proves me wrong because even though i may be saying i wont buy it i know i will i just hope its not a waste of 50 bucks

I don't really think it's a sequal of FFTA. It's just in the same world. *shrugs* Not sure. Square hasn't released alot. I also have been feeling that Square has been lacking lately. Ever since the merger of them and Enix things have started to go downhill. FFX was good, and so is FFXI. XII proboly won't dissapoint. They are trying new things from what I can tell. and maybe that's why. I have to admit though.. FFX-2 was crap. I just think a sequal to any FF game is not truely a FF game. *shrugs* I'm waiting for FFXII, it looks like the best since X that's come out of Square lately.

little off topic lol the Fruit he is holding in his hand also looks alot like a Real fruit called Star Fruit. I love the stuff but the growing season for it is very short. Making the selling time even shorter. Might just be cuase im up here in the NW.

Also by the skin and stuff of the fruit i would guess it comes from Dry area (middle east type fruit???). Just thought i would share that. I'll get a pick of star fruit up asap.

The star fruit or carambola (Averrhoa carambola), is a unique, waxy, golden yellow to green fruit that has a 5 pointed star shape when cut across the middle of the fruit.

They probably originated in Sri Lanka and the Moluccas, and have been cultivated in southeast Asia and Malaysia for several hundred years. There are 2 varieties found in markets, one very sour and the other slightly sweet. Their flavor has been described as like a cross between an apple and a grape. It is almost impossible to tell the sweet and tart varieties apart, but in general the sweet varities have thicker, fleshier ribs. There are several white varieties, all of which are sweet.

They bruise easily, so handle with care. Star fruit (the sweet variety) can be eaten out of hand or sliced and used as a garnish or in salads. They are also used in chutney, curries and tarts. The juice can be used in tropical drinks and smoothies.

Trying new things may be what they are doing. FF VIII was a masterpiece IMO maybe it will work out but its taking a different direction than FF VIII took but only time will tell

In my opinion, FFVIII wasnt that great. but that's just me :p It was still good though. Not the best. FFVII or FFVI has to be my favorite.

People didnt like FF VIII Because they dont like to learn complicated and rewarding systems such as the junction system. (MASTERFUL!!!) It also helped that the game was set in a mood that is similiar to my mind frame

I never said it was bad. Alittle higher learning curve than other FF's. Which is what turned many away. It was a great game overall. The reason why It's not one of my favorites is the story. I didn't like it as much as others. Although, don't get me wrong, it WAS still very good.

I personnaly liked final fantasy VIII. I probably liked this one the most cause it was the first rpg i ever played, but still, it has a great story, and an amazing card game

I watched like a 7 minute movie on FFXII and I must say it resembles X and XI a lot. I got the impression that FFXII will be, graphic wise, competitive with XI along with gameplay. Minus the fact that it isn't online.

I hope they add an online element to it ya know. Go online and Have your party fight someone elses and what not it would be entertaining IMO

square enix has already said that there will be no online features for the game. i think we've got enough of that with FFXI and Tetra Master
