1. You can play Tetris on a Titan and it wont look any better.
2. You can develop a game to run on lower spec hardware and still run it on higher spec hardware.
3. Games begin their development cycles on PCs and aren't always ready to run on a console when it comes time to demo them.
4. An easier way to tell if it's actually running on a console is to check if the Xbox Guide or XMB can be pulled up while you're playing.

1. The XBox One OS is based around Windows 8 and not Windows 7 which raises questions about The XBox One's OS and how well optimised the games will be for it.
2. Both the CPU and GPU for the XBox One (and PS4) are made by AMD and not nVidia
3. Optimising for a PC and optimising for a console are two different things. The games shown in the demos would have been optimised to run on Windows 7 PCs and not the Widows 8 Based Xbox One Dev Kits. Given that the Hardware in the PCs was a lot more powerful then we may well end up with games toned down from their E3 showings.
4. It's free publicity for Sony and is NOT helping thier case in selling that piece of polished, anti-consumer bullshit.
5. XBox One games being optimised for Windows 8 may well mean that yo uare forced to use Windows 8 for the PC Ports which is a big issue if you take your "Consoles are just shitty PCs" comment into perspective.
