When did any of that happen?

I do remember the Voyager episode where The Doctor was transmitted to the Alpha Quadrant and came upon the Prometheus and EMH Mark II. And then, the entire crew being out of commission, both EMH programs had to act take care of the Romulans threat against the Promethius on their own.

I don't remember The Doctor getting promoted to Captain, though. I just remember him getting his freedom as a recognized person and not just a hologram, in addition to getting married.

The Doctor was pretty much the whole reason I watched Voyager, he was one of the best Trek characters in the series. Definately the best doctor after McCoy.

The Doc was able to become a command hologram with full access codes though, which could be the same as captain in how you could twist it. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/ECH
Actual captian statement was to making the ENM Mark II of the Promethius that since The Doc was able to get married and gain Voyager's command codes to be in command of the ship if the situation arises(alternate time line though after the events of end game conclueded.) So, why not make his Mark II friend the actual Captian of the ship he's a part of to add to the experiement?

Be interesting to see a series focused on the oppents of the Federation rather than be on the same "Federation Starship" Possibly maybe show what happened to the race of holograms that broke free after the incident with the Hirogen. Or what about make a series of the U.S.S. Prometheus (NX-59650) with an offical launch and its EMH MArk II is made captian =o Seeing how Doc was able to become the ECH why not actual captian?
Hey, why not? I'm tired of prequels. Sick of them in fact. Let's move on. Let's stop using Cannons and re-inventing the warp core. Let's have a Starfleet Academy. Then every year there will be a test. Between all the great Academy's. And then we'd have the Klingon Acadamey and Romulan Academy attack the Earth Federation! hahahaha.

There's 2 episodes your mixing up. The Emergency Command Hologram was on a seperate episode where a alien entity was peeking into his dreams and he dreampt that he was a powerful captain of Voyager with the Photonic Beam or something like that. It was a pretty good episode, I guess for Voyager Standards.

I didn't think Voyager was that bad. If you watch more of the episodes you manage to get a deeper feel into Voyager than TNG. More so than DS9.

One of my favorite Episodes from Voyager is Relativity. The concept of Time travel really screws everything up, and I don't know how "Re-integration" with former past or future selves works, but I loved the fact that we got to see 7 of 9 try to convince Janeway her humanity, and herself to believe in herself.

Always seeing yourself dying or yourself hurt seem to jog un-easiness in me. Perhaps it is a reminder of our own humanity? Of our own mortal flesh.

Because he's played by Andy Dick. He has his good moments (like that episode), but is a real annoying and bad actor otherwise.

Yea, but I was refering to two seperate things and episodes.
That day dream episode killed me of laughter for one thing, well two. Seven fighting over the doctor, and the other, holodeck, painting.
Doc also was a good leader(in skills, not command though) from the episode where the Hirogen took control of Voyager and he worked on freeing them.
When Seska took over Voyager and then the Promethius episode.
The race of Holograms was a result of the end of the Hirogen occupation of Voyager when they gave holodeck capabilities as an act of peace. Those were the holograms I was reffering to for a possible series/episode.

Maybe true, but who's to say they can't reimage the Mark II for that reason?
