IMO Hack.//sign opening movie and ending credits is a fundamental part to the theme of the storyline. The fact that they changed it show how little they know of anime.

Aren't you lucky Cartoon Network is showing Anime at all? WHere I am, CN is exclusively US stuff, crap like some stupid lion&hyaena, old stuff like wacky races, some kiddy stuff like dexters lab, power puff girls etc.

Whereas the next channel over has the sequel to poppee the performer. (which isnt suitable for kids).

.hack has been followed by, for want of a better description, .hack SD. same world, different characters, more comedy (cf, the panda jokes).

Wolf's rain is worth watching, and I quite like heat-guy J, someday's dreamers, etc.

If you want the OP/ED, why not do the unthinkable and *BUY* the DVDs. (3 ep per). Then you can be one of the Kokaku-S droolies who can see the tv series in widescreen 5.1 dolby digital! Be the envy of your friends! Pretend you know what they are talking about too!

Well I saw part of .Hack and It seemed like a weak anime. Didn't like it at all.

Its a great series, I saw the whole thing Subbed, the way it SHOULD be. (I really don't like dubs all that much anymore, especially when they go wrong.)

And, Crimson Knights? Never heard that before, its translated Scarlet Knights in the Subbed episodes.

Annyway, I have to say that .Hack is my favorite anime, it's just all around great ^.^

Lot's of things are changed in US translations. For example, Sumomo in Chobits is named "Plum" in the Tokyopop published Manga, I believe because Sumomo roughly translates to Plum in english (personally, I think Sumomo sounds better). Unfortunatly a lot of the cultural references are lost when translations occur ><;;, but this .hack one is a very minor case.

Well they are goin to release the DVD's i think the special edition is out on march 3rd. It includes a shirt and a demo for the game and many many other things...that runs almost 70 dollars US. and then the regular DVD releases on march 18th. That will be normal priced...

BTW: they only made 15,000 special edition DVD's so good luck gettin one.

Also, I downloaded the Subbed episodes offa Kazaa. Im on episode 6 and I love is so far. I have yet to see it on CN. I hope they didnt goof it up too bad.
