Well, Cartoon Network has been notorious for having editors cut out things that may not even be objectionable. It's not the dub I'm worried about. Bandai animes usually have pretty fair dubs. I'm just upset because I don't like to see anime on TV like that. I believe anime should stay the way it used to be, sort of "underground" for the people who really appreciate it, not 3 year olds who watch kiddied-down, Americanized versions of Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z. Sorry if you object, but that's how I feel. :spin:

I agree with you there.. I would rather have it kinda underground rather than have little kids running around saying "Did you see that episode?!" when they have no idea of what they are talking about :sweat:

I cannot WAIT to see .hack, because my personal God is Yoshiyuki Sadamato. The designs in .hack truly look like his best work since Evangelion...I'm definitely gonna have to get all the artbooks!

It's on at 3PM not 3AM.... and its not that bad, obviously in Japan the anime is a bit more adult, which is BS why people think its that bad... a word doesnt actually mean something, all languages are made up after all... I mean come on... and nudity, if people didn't make such a big deal about it, like the lady on Talkradio on GTA vice city is, then it wouldn't even be a big deal...

Aw man, i just watched the last 10 mins of the showing... but i missed the first 10. So basically I have NO idea whats going on. I really want to get into this anime, with all the great reviews its been getting. Basically, heres what i got.. even though i missed the begining.

The show is placed in some sort of online game. The main guy (dont even know his name ><) cant 'log out', and he has this guardian thing following him around. Then at the end of the EP, they show someone lieing on the floor by a VR headset.... im assuming its some kind of side effect from the game?

Can anyone please fill in the blanks of the 1st ep for me.. i really wanna get into this! And also... please dont give unmarked spoilers, hehe.

[edit] Better yet, maybe just find out when/if they're replaying the 1st ep?

The first episode basically introduces you to the characters, Tsukasa, Mimiru, Subaru, etc. and vaguely explains Tsukasa's current situation of not being able to logout (see conversation with Mimiru). In the ending to episode 1, the player that falls unconscious (lying on the floor with the vr headset) is the guard (forgot his name) that fought with the guardian. It's is a side effect from a direct attack, but that's all I can tell you without any major spoilers.
I recommend that you watch the next few episodes first before you continue reading on with more posts.

to me i think thats an important element to anime, the theme songs
i dont know maybe i like anime to a discusting point, but i dont see the point in what they r doing
