Well, to be honest, I'm a bit conflicted. 2 main people in my LS split because of differences within the LS. Everyone in my LS has at least 4 level 50 jobs, which is where I'm at, so as new content rolls out, we are going to be right on top of it, which is what i need since my lowest job I have , the only one that's not level 50, is 30 pug. My LS is full of good people, but I'm not sure if the first 2 people leaving are a sign of what's to come.

People come and go in guilds big and small for various reasons. We are human, afterall, and I don't think none of us ever signed some kind of binding agreement when joining a social group to begin with. It would be a bad sign if it's an issue with the core group of players and the officers of your group but I wouldn't be bothered with one or two people leaving.

Ultimately the decision is yours. By the sounds of it, you're above and beyond what we're all at... and I think we might just hold you back from other things you want to do.

PUG is your only job under 50? Yeah... you're lightyears ahead of us. It sucks not to have you with us but your reasons are solid. Continue with your group and don't add to the waterfall effect. If 2 people leave, that's a cooincidence, 3 is a pattern. Don't be the 3rd.

Yyg has summed up everything I wanted to say in a more eloquent and concise manner. I posted my reply first thing I got up and was rushing out the door to work. LOL

I'm hoping to hit 40 tonight ... and then I plan to go level up my Conjurer a bit ... maybe at least to 25? Not that it matters, since I won't get access to Shell /cry Then I'll revisit the Paladin quest line. What I really want to do is get my crafting up. Materia is a real PITA because you may be high enough to repair an item, to craft that item, but not high enough to meld materia to that item. QQ

I'm still struggling just to get every job to at least 16 or 17 so I can start getting rid of my older gear.

I've already converted quit a bit of it into materia, but catalysts are a BITCH to gather - SE needs to address this. Finger Prints of the Gods almost never triggers, and the rates people charge for the stuff are obscene.

You do know that Finger Print of the Gods have some kind of weird (and unexplained) mechanic of pointing you in the right depth direction to dig for maximum chance, right?

lololololololol... That reminds me. So I'm playing last night right? And I finally go to do the quest done to allow me to get "Finger Print" only to notice that I never set ANY of my DoL skills all the way from 1-18. They're useful as hell too. Things are so much easier now that I have them... and I profit more too.

Yes, when the fucking thing actually activates! Which is precisely the problem with it, it almost never triggers to begin with so I can't go harvesting for catalysts. All the DoL skills seem to just randomly activate out of the blue, and I hate it. It'd be nice if they would bump up the rate at which these stupid skills trigger, or give some kind of hint as to how to get them to activate more often. Sweat of Brow is incredibly OP, but almost never kicks in. It's like a 5% chance at best.

Funny ... it kicks in for me as often as the other abilities that increases your chance to find crystals or rare items. Maybe it's dependant on gear?

Hello Everyone

Here is my Work time : Mon-Fri 8:00am pst to 6:00pm pst
Here is my School time: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:00 pm pst to 10:20pm pst.

Pretty much I will have time to play on weekend, however I still have homework and project to do, so is very unstable. I will try my best to to on the weekend. I can play couple hours after work on Monday and Tuesday night.

I would actually be tempted to reinstall FFXIV if there's a DiV linkshell but since I live in the UK I doubt I'll have anyone to play with. Plus it will be nothing but a grindfest for me since I don't have any characters in Ragarok. Solo grindfest too for the above reason .

A lot of the new members in the shell are in UK times--though I'll be honest to you I think a lot of them have moved on to their own UK shells since we have members from all over and our schedules conflict. I noticed quite a few members from day 1 are new in a green and white shell called "Esuna". No bad feelings or anything...I mean, not like I know them well to begin with but yeah.

My schedule is weird, I hardly play during US day times for the most part and I typically log on at really odd hours (similar to what Aeni and Andariel play...pretty much); there are times when I sneak on at NA peak times and group up for a few leve's with Yyg or someone else...but for the most part, my open days are the weekends.

Yeah the things that are stopping me from really just joining in right away are concerns about the UK/EU population there (since I realistically can and should only really be playing at US times on weekends) and also the fact that I will have to start from scratch which in itself is a pain with the fatigue system since you will always be playing catch up.

Basically I just don't want to have to stay up until 4-5am just to get anything done like when I started playing FFXI again and joined Ygg's LS

I WANT to say a moderator on FFXIV forums stated it was roughly 2 weeks to fully accumulate your rested exp.

I don't think you'll have problems finding help for things--I find that my best chances of getting into pick-up groups for AF, Ifrit, and so forth are in fact during EU peak hours--a little inconvenient for me sadly but I'm willing to make that sacrifice once or twice a week to finish what I have set out to do. Other than that, I can often get a few LS members to help provided they're online and available of course.
